MSNBC TORCHED Over Classless, Easter Ambush of Robert Mueller
The American people are losing faith in the mainstream media these days, and it’s not hard to see why.
First, there is the undeniable reality of television “news” and its lifeblood; the advertisers. Without the sale of temporary media real estate to these corporations, (i.e.: commercials), there would be no money to pay for entertainers like Chris Cuomo, Shep Smith, or Rachel Maddow to talk to those expensive cameras.
Of course, given that this is the overwhelming and near-singular source of revenue for these channels, there can be no doubt of their influence on the programming. In any other supposedly unbiased industry, this would be an automatic disqualification for objectivity…but not in the wild world of infotainment.
That’s why it is no surprise that MSNBC ambushed Robert Mueller as the former Special Counsel was leaving Sunday morning service on Easter.
MSNBC came in for criticism on Sunday after reporter Mike Viqueira attempted to question special counsel Robert Mueller as he left Easter church services in Washington, D.C.
“Will you testify before Congress, sir? If he were anybody but the president, would Mr. Trump be indicted, sir?” Viqueira asked as Mueller struggled to get into his car. “Sir, why didn’t you make a recommendation to Congress one way or the other? Did the attorney general accurately characterize your positions on conspiracy and obstruction, sir?”
The uncouth confrontation must be seen to be believed.
This man just released a 400+ page report that is being disseminated and dissected by the media in nonstop fashion, and will be for months. How does this reporter have the gall to ask him “are you sure about that?” after Mueller responded with no comment.
The media today are nothing but clowns in ties, and this sort of sleazy ambush was only committed in hopes that Mueller would somehow disparage the President with a statement.
But, of course, it makes for good television, further cementing the argument that the mainstream media is nothing more than infotainment.
