Mueller Prosecutor Discusses ‘Imprisoning’ Trump in Florida

…For charges in New York…

Nearly half a year removed from the end of Donald Trump’s first term as President, there are still many out there who believe that the former Commander in Chief will soon find himself in legal hot water…and possibly even indicted.

Of course, this may be wishful thinking for some on the left, who’ve been trying to get Trump from the very moment that the New York businessman stepped onto the political stage.  This includes prosecutors in the Southern District of New York who’ve been working up a number of possible avenue through which to be a nuisance to the former President.

Now, a prosecutor who contributed to a previous attempt to nail Trump to the wall is exuding an extraordinary stance on the subject, suggesting that the 45th President of the United States could be imprisoned in Florida on account of the New York investigation.

Former President Donald Trump could end up stuck in Florida if he is indicted in New York and there is resistance to him being extradited, according to a top prosecutor in Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation.

Looking ahead, Andrew Weissmann, a former Justice Department official and FBI general counsel, also suggested such a situation could limit Trump’s ability to inhabit the White House should he run for the presidency again in 2024.

“This happens all the time in foreign countries, where essentially you have people who are sort of imprisoned in a country. Here, Donald Trump would be imprisoned in Florida,” Weissmann said during an appearance on MSNBC. “If he went overseas, if he went to any other state, he would be subject to those laws, and so he would really have to stay in Florida. It certainly would be quite an interesting issue if he were to, for instance — this is way down the road — but if he were to try and run again for president, he would not be inhabiting the White House in that situation because there would be papers seeking his extradition to New York.”

There was no denying where Weissman’s political compass pointed, as the former Mueller team member lamented that the Special Counsel may have been able to do more to “hold Trump accountable” during the lengthy “RussiaGate” investigation.

Biden Publicly Urged to Take Cognitive Test by Former White House Doc and Over a Dozen Lawmakers

This is getting serious.

Joe Biden is no spring chicken, that’s a fact, and there have been a great many concerns about the septuagenarian’s health in recent weeks. While Biden does appear to be, (mostly), physically fit, it is his mental health that has long been in question.  He’s a gaffe machine, of course, and the President himself doesn’t seem to hide from that reality much. But there are now some well-educated folks close to the situation who are sounding the alarm about his memory, and doing so very publicly. Dr. Ronny Jackson, the former White House physician, called on President Biden to immediately undergo a cognitive test so the commander-in-chief can prove to the American public sound mental capabilities. “We can’t sit on this any longer,” Jackson told “Hannity” Thursday night, citing Biden’s “embarrassing” performance overseas this week with world leaders. “He’s not physically or cognitively fit to be our president right now,” Jackson added. And it’s not just Jackson. The freshman Texas congressman and 13 of his GOP colleagues sent a letter to Biden Thursday expressing “concern” with his cognitive state and cited several examples of potential memory lapses, including apparently forgetting the name of his Defense Secretary, telling an Amtrak story with a timeline that didn’t add up and seemingly blanking on the often-quoted first line of the Declaration of Independence. “Unfortunately, your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past 18 months,” Jackson and the GOP reps wrote in a letter to Biden, the White House physician and Dr. Anthony Fauci. The left will likely write this off as a stunt, but they do so at their own peril.

Cruz Clobbers Kamala Over Border Crisis Negligence

Ted was LIVID!

Ted Cruz

If one of your first tasks at your new job was to figure out why the printer wasn’t working, the first thing you would do is visually inspect the printer to see what needs doing. Vice President Kamala Harris, when tasked with the job of cleaning up the heartbreaking humanitarian crisis at our southern border, decided that she would get to work on “climate change”, citing it as one of the “root causes” of illegal immigration. And, to add insult to injury, the Vice President hasn’t even visited the border to see what’s wrong. In our office job metaphor, this would be like turning down the thermostat to see if that made the printer work. Texas Senator Ted Cruz lashed out at the VP over her negligence this week, saying the following: “It is a complete and total abdication by the federal government. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are quite simply not doing their job. They’re refusing to enforce the law and they’ve created an unmitigated crisis at the border. “A couple of months ago, I took 19 senators down to the border to see firsthand what was happening. And I’ve been to the border many, many times. It is worse than it has ever been. “We had just last month over 180,000 people cross illegally last month. We’re on pace for 2 million people to cross illegally. And Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have zero intention of doing anything.” And then… “That’s why they won’t go to the border. Kamala, at this point, it’s almost like a comedy show. She’s so terrified. You know, it reminds me of that old show, ‘Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?’ She’ll go everywhere except the border because she’s afraid of what’s going on down there, and they have no solutions. ” It has…
