From Breitbart:

Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) said Monday that President Donald Trump could lose the 2020 presidential election if his “personality” is the central focus of his campaign.

“The person who defines that race is going to win the race. If this is about Donald Trump and his personality, he isn’t going to win it,” Ryan said during a lecture in Vero Beach, Florida, according to TCPalm.com.

The former speaker said President Trump should focus on issues of substance, rather than not style, if he wants to beat his Democrat presidential rival next year. Potential Democrat presidential contenders include Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Kamala Harris (D-CA), and Cory Booker (D-NJ). Former Vice President Joe Biden and former Rep. Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke (D-TX) are expected to launch campaigns in the coming weeks.

In a recent meeting, Trump scorched Ryan for screwing him and not securing funding for the border wall.

From Washington Post:

At a meeting Wednesday with conservative groups, the president accused former House speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) of having “screwed him” by not securing border wall money when Republicans had the majority, according to one attendee, Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies. He said Ryan should have gotten him money before he left but he had no juice and had “gone fishing,” according to two attendees.

Ryan said Utah Senator Mitt Romney could serve as the “standard bearer” for the Republican Party.

From Newsmax:

House Speaker Paul Ryan said that newly elected senator Mitt Romney, his former running mate, can be the “standard-bearer” for Republicans in Congress like the late Sen. John McCain.

Ryan, R-Wis., said “it’s great” that Romney, the former governor of Massachusetts who was elected to the Senate in Utah, is coming to Capitol Hill.

It’s great that he’s coming. Mitt believes there’s a role for him … as a standard-bearer for our party.

After Trump said he’d look for a way to end birthright citizenship (possibly via executive order), Ryan wasn’t on board.

You obviously cannot do that. You cannot end birthright citizenship with an executive order. We didn’t like it when Obama tried changing immigration laws via executive action, and obviously as conservatives, we believe in the Constitution.

I’m a believer in following the plain text of the Constitution, and I think in this case, the 14th Amendment’s pretty clear, and that would involve a very very lengthy Constitutional process. I believe in interpreting the Constitution as its written, and that means you can’t do something like this via executive order.

Disney Slaps ‘Peter Pan,’ ‘Dumbo,’ Other Classic Films With New Content Warnings

Published

Disney has decided to continue walking down the “woke” path, attempting to stay relevant so they can milk the rest of humanity for all the dollars possible by tossing some disclaimers on a number of classic films warning that some scenes in the movies contain “negative depictions” and “mistreatment of people or cultures.” Good grief. If Disney didn’t own two-thirds of the world at this point, it would become obvious that making this choice to “go woke” would result in the company “going broke,” but since they do seem to have their hand in everything, nothing is going to come of them doing this. via Daily Wire: “These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together,” says the 12-second disclaimer, which cannot be skipped. The films include “Dumbo” from 1941, “Peter Pan” from 1953, “Swiss Family Robinson” from 1960, and “The Aristocats” from 1970. The disclaimer also directs viewers to a website titled “Stories Matter,” which says, “Because happily ever after doesn’t just happen.” “As part of our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, we are in the process of reviewing our library and adding advisories to content that includes negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures,” the site says. “We can’t change the past, but we can acknowledge it, learn from it and move forward together to create a tomorrow that today can only dream of.” Disney went on to explain the reason for slapping the warnings on the content: Dumbo “The crows and musical number pay homage to racist minstrel shows, where white performers with blackened faces and tattered clothing imitated and ridiculed enslaved Africans on Southern plantations. Top Astrophysicist Says Asteroid Could Smash Into Earth Day Before Election

Published

on

So far in the year 2020 we’ve had a pandemic featuring an age discriminating virus, race riots, the government admitting UFOs are real, murder hornets, and the wackiest presidential race of all time. Surely there’s nothing else this year could throw at us, right? Wrong. Apparently, according to astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, there’s a strong possiblity an asteroid is going to smash into the earth the day before the election. Who had asteroid on their 2020 Bingo card? via Fox News: An asteroid with a diameter the size of a refrigerator could strike the Earth the day before the November election, according to celebrity scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson — but it’s not large enough to do any serious damage. The famed astrophysicist said the space rock, known as 2018VP1, is hurtling towards Earth at a speed of 25,000 miles per hour and may clip the planet on Nov. 2. “It may buzz-cut Earth on Nov. 2, the day before the Presidential Election,” he wrote on Instagram. But he added that the flying object is nothing to lose sleep over since “it’s not big enough to cause harm.”⠀⠀⠀ NASA already identified the asteroid that is rocketing toward earth, but stated the chances of it actually hitting the earth are currently less than one percent. “It currently has a 0.41% chance of entering our planet’s atmosphere, but if it did, it would disintegrate due to its extremely small size,” the organization stated. While this rock may not hit earth, or even if it does, it might now do much in the way of damage, but I’ve seen enough scary movies to know that when stuff like this happens, strange occurrences follow. So, sure, you may not have to worry about the asteroid, but if it passes by our planet and you suddenly…
