New Accountability Act Could Have Hillary and Comey Watching Their Backs

Matt Gaetz doesn’t think anyone should get a free pass for perjury…and America agrees with him wholeheartedly.

Americans are angry, but with good reason; We have been lied to time and again by the “powers that be”, and they have done so with near-impunity.

Politicians are almost always the most frequent culprit here, constantly telling the American people one thing and then proceeding to do something else entirely, often for the purposes of gaining personal wealth, or staying out of jail.  The fact that a great many of these lies are caught on tape would, in a perfect world, find these taxpayer-funded liars behind bars.

Unfortunately, it seems as though Washington DC operates on the idea that, if you’re a big enough name, you will be considered immune to the charges of perjury or contempt.

Trending: NEVER FORGET: Bernie Was Asked to Leave Hippie Commune for Refusing to Work

Rep Matt Gaetz is looking to change all that.

Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz introduced a bill that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former FBI Director James Comey, and former National Intelligence Director James Clapper probably won’t like.

The “Justice For All Act” would require equal punishment for those who have lied or lie to Congress, no matter who they are.

“Unfortunately, it often seems that we have a two-tiered justice system at work; certain people have the book thrown at them, while others face no consequences at all for their behavior. This is unfair and wrong, and I hope to correct this with my resolution,” said Gaetz.

The “Justice For All Act” gets an excellent breakdown here:

There is little evidence that democrats will be lining up to support his common sense legislation, as it would certainly affect their ability to fool their constituents into remaining on the left side of the aisle.

Poll Shows Dem 2020 Frontrunners Tied, But Neither is Even Running

Kamala Harris took the third place position in the poll.

Boy, oh boy, is the democratic party in a real pickle for the 2020 presidential race.

So far, the left has been using what could be described as a “spray and pray” method of finding a candidate to run against the presumed republican ticket of Trump/Pence.

Some of those who’ve stuck to the wall are starting to slide, like unready spaghetti.  Kamala Harris, for example, has had to resort to begging for donations only a few months into her campaign.

On the other side of the coin, however, Bernie Sander raised $6 million in just one day.

Sanders, 77, entered the 2020 presidential race Tuesday morning. His campaign announced 14 hours later that 150,000 donors had contributed $4 million to the effort. By Wedesday morning that number reached $6 million.

At least $600,000 of that haul came in the form of contributions that will renew monthly.

While impressive, Bernie isn’t even the frontrunner at this point.  In fact, in what must be an embarrassing realization for the DNC, neither of the supposed “frontrunners” are even technically running.

Former first lady Michelle Obama tied with former Vice President Joe Biden as the top choice among Democratic voters when asked who should be the party’s nominee in 2020.

A Hill-HarrisX poll released Tuesday found that 25 percent of Democrats said they would back Obama in the party primary over nine other declared or potential candidates, including Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas).

Obama has said she is not running, and Biden has not announced whether he will launch another White House bid.

Kamala Harris took the third place position in the poll.

BOMBSHELL: Hate Crime Hoaxer Smollett Gave ‘False Information’ to Cops In 2007

He has a history of lying…

“Empire” actor Jussie Smollett has a history of lying to law enforcement.

Back in 2007, he “provided false information” after receiving a DUI.

Jussie Smollett pleaded no contest to DUI, driving without a license, and providing false information to law enforcement officials in 2007, according to new reports released on Tuesday.

“Tuesday the Los Angeles City Attorney’s office confirmed that in August of 2007 Smollett pleaded no contest to DUI, driving without a license and providing false information to law enforcement,” CBS Chicago reported. “He was sentenced to two years probation and a choice of a fine or jail. Officials at the office could not confirm which Smollett chose. A spokesman for the Chicago Police Department said the department was already aware of the plea.”

This latest revelation follows several significant developments over the last few days, and could end up impacting how prosecutors handle potential false report charges.

Senators Kamala Harris (CA) and Cory Booker (NJ) are both running for president.

The chances that either person secures the Democrat nomination are slim, at best.

After hearing that Empire actor Jussie Smollett was the “victim” of a “hate crime,” both Booker and Harris rushed to slam the “attack” as a “modern day lynching.”

Of course, the country now knows that Smollett faked the attack and paid two brothers to orchestrate the whole thing.

Now, Harris is at a loss for words when confronted by a reporter asking about Smollett…

From Free Beacon:

Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) froze and awkwardly looked around when pressed Monday on her tweet that the alleged attack on Jussie Smollett was a “modern-day lynching,” before saying she needed to see all the facts.

Smollet, a gay, black actor, claimed he was the victim of a hate crime in January, saying two men beat him up in a Chicago street, poured bleach on him and placed a rope around his neck. He also said they yelled, “This is MAGA country,” a reference to President Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan. The story has taken a turn, with police now reportedly investigating whether Smollett orchestrated the attack himself by paying two Nigerian brothers to do it.

Democratic politicians were quick to believe Smollett’s account at the time and tweet out their condemnations, including Harris and other 2020 presidential candidates. She praised the actor as “one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know” and said “this was an attempted modern day lynching.”
