NEW POLL: Biden's Handling of Ukraine Crisis as America Sees It

Russia, the scourge of the world at this point in their history, has invaded the sovereign nation of Ukraine, and done so with aplomb.  The world has been left to watch, on the sidelines, as Vladimir Putin’s threats of nuclear annihilation remain heeded…even as Kyiv looks poised to be toppled.

On Friday, three days into the war, Twitter revealed a stark shift in the attitude of the world’s citizens.  Trending there were a multitude of hashtags that demanded the international community go to Ukraine and confront Putin in a very literal way.  The time for containment was over.  The world now wanted combat.

But the US and other western nations, (as well as those in Europe), stayed away.  Still.  Allowing Kyiv to be carved up by belligerent Russians who are now emboldened to do whatever the hell they want.

It’s an abysmal rendering of the American ethos of protecting democracy, and a new poll reveals just how fed up US citizens are regarding Biden’s inaction.

Rasmussen Reports asked 1,000 likely voters, “How do you rate the way President Biden has handled the Russian aggression towards Ukraine?” Nearly two-thirds, a full 64 percent, rated him negatively: “fair” (15 percent) and “poor” (49 percent.)

And also:

Only 31 percent rated Slow Joe’s handling of the crisis as “excellent” (16 percent) or “good” (15 percent).

On the overall issue of handling national security, a majority of 51 percent rate Biden as straight-up “poor,” while another 13 percent rate him “fair” Only 33 percent rated Biden as “excellent” (18 percent) or “good” (15 percent).

Will Biden see the writing on the wall before Ukraine is lost to the history books?
