News Outlet Claims Trump Is Holding 100,000 Kids In Detention Camps, Turns Out It Was Obama
One, two, three, too many to count. That’s how many times the far-left media has jumped to a conclusion about President Trump and his administration before looking into the facts.
And it’s not about to end anytime soon, either. Tuesday was no exception. Trump got blamed for something that occurred under Barack Obama’s watch. Go figure, right?
The worst part is that Trump could mirror Obama’s moves and he’d still be chastised as the most evil man to ever walk the earth, simply because he’s a Republican. And that’s the problem.
Here’s the original tweet:

Here’s the retraction:
AFP is withdrawing this story.
The author of the report has clarified that his figures do not represent the number of children currently in migration-related US detention, but the total number of children in migration-related US detention in 2015.
We will delete the story.

Reactions:
Let’s withdraw this, because it happened in 2015, when Obama was President and Biden was Vice President.
Sounds fair🤦♂️

I’ve lost count of how many “outrageous Trump-era immigration stories” have actually turned out to be from the Obama era. And every single time, the media/left just shrug and say “oh, well, that was different.”

How many times now has it happened that people – with great preening & indignation – posted something online about the moral evils of Trump’s immigration detention centers, only to slink away when it turned out it was from Obama years?
