Now DEMOCRAT Governors are Busing Migrants to the Northeast
The liberal left has repeatedly insisted that the latest immigration advocacy campaign out of Texas is cruel and dangerous, but many believe that this is just a deflection aimed at reversing the reality of the situation.
Texas, Florida, and others have been busing and flying migrants to liberal enclaves, mostly in the northeast, for months now as their ability to properly care for the massive influx of people has been hampered by inaction at the federal level. The move also exposed the left’s blatant hypocrisy on the subject, as journalists reported a distinct change in attitude among Martha’s Vineyard locals after the media cameras went off.
But now, as the immigration issue continues to spiral out of control even Democratic lawmakers are advocating for reform.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis plans to send migrants to major cities including New York, Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday, warning that the nation’s largest city is already struggling to deal an influx of people sent from Texas and other Republican-led states.
However, the Democratic governor told POLITICO shortly afterward that the state has been helping asylum seekers reach their final destinations — including New York City — for weeks. The only change has been a recent winter storm and ensuing travel catastrophe that created a backlog of migrants wanting to leave Denver, which is now being cleared.
Adams made his comments during a radio appearance Tuesday morning.
The campaign, while controversial, certainly appeared to be educating these leftist leaders on the subject of unfettered immigration.
“We were notified yesterday that the governor of Colorado is now stating that they are going to be sending migrants to places like New York and Chicago,” Adams said during a radio appearance. “This is just unfair for local governments to have to take on this national obligation.”
Worse still: An enormous migrant caravan is believed to be forming in Mexico, with up to 40,000 individuals preparing to march north toward the US border in the coming months.
