Oakland Liberals Form Protest When They See an ICE Raid...But What Officials Were Doing Will Make Your Jaw Drop
This story is the perfect picture of everything wrong with the “abolish ICE” movement.
Bleeding-heart liberals know nothing more than their patronizing feelings towards illegal immigrants and how good it makes them feel to virtue signal faux outrage at sensible immigration law being enforced.
Meanwhile, their own Democrat-run cities are being ravaged with crime and host to unthinkably evil crime networks run by violent gangs to run drugs, firearms, and people…even children.
If you think the only thing we need to worry about coming in from our Southern border is Guatemalan families fleeing violence, you’re clearly not paying attention. The things these families are fleeing flow across the border just as easily and take up residence in our communities.
So when a group of concerned residents in Oakland saw an ICE raid on one of their neighbor’s houses, they didn’t even stop to wonder why ICE was there, and just assumed it was the evil Trump Gestapo come to separate more families.
They couldn’t have been more wrong, and what ICE agents were doing there will make you sick when you consider the fact that these clueless armchair revolutionaries were protesting it.
The Daily Wire’s Amanda Prestagiacomo reports:
CBS San Francisco reported in August of 2017 that federal agents served a search warrant on a Guatemalan immigrant family home in Oakland in connection with an investigation concerning the sex trafficking of juveniles. The human trafficking operation was later confirmed by authorities.
Amazingly, as ICE officers were literally breaking up the child prostitution operation, they were being protested against by liberal neighbors who demonized the agency and advocated for the “rights” of illegal immigrants.
Oakland is designated a “sanctuary city” for illegals.
Hadar Cohen, a female neighbor protesting ICE during the raid, told local news that she woke up to her roommate crying due to the agents’ cars being outside their residence.
“It’s been really tough because we have no idea what’s going on in there, and we that there’s a lot of injustices that have been happening,” said Cohen, a “No person is illegal” sign in-hand. “We care for our neighbors, and we for immigration rights.”
That’s right–these people were protesting the apprehension of child sex traffickers.
I do not even have the words to explain out outrageous that is.
When are these liberals going to wake up and realize if they really cared about immigrants, families, and children, they’d be rallying behind ICE and Trump’s agenda?
