Obama’s White House Guest Was the Leader of Attack On U.S. Embassy In Baghdad

Another blemish on the record?

Barack Obama was the greatest president who ever lived to people who don’t follow politics or who live outside of America. Yes, I believe I’m hilarious. At the end of the day, though, facts don’t lie and Obama has a ton of negatives going against him. But I’m not reinventing the wheel, here. You already knew that to be true.

So then, why isn’t the mainstream media calling out Barack for hosting the leader of the attack at the U.S. embassy in Iraq as a guest at the White House, years ago? Perplexing, to say the least.

Oh, right. The MSM loves them some Barack and will do anything and everything to keep his name out of the mud, despite such a horrifying resume while POTUS. Got it.

The leader of an Iran-backed US embassy siege in Baghdad was welcomed to the White House by Barack Obama eight years ago before becoming Tehran’s ‘point man’ in Iraq.

Hadi al-Amiri was Iraq’s minister of transport under then-Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and stood in the Oval Office as part of Maliki’s delegation on a visit to the White House in December 2011.

CONTINUED:

On Tuesday, al-Amiri was among those leading the charge against the US embassy in Baghdad when it was stormed and set alight by pro-Iran militants. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo shared a photograph of Amiri amid the rioters, condemning him as an ‘Iranian proxy,’ and calling those shoulder-to-shoulder with him ‘terrorists.’

The head of a leading pro-Iran Shia faction, Amiri exerts great power within Iraq’s state-sanctioned Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and was highlighted by Pompeo among three other men as the ringleaders of the siege.

The former VP can’t seem to escape his gaffe-prone ways, yet continues to remain in the public eye.

When it comes down to it and Joe goes head-to-head with President Trump in the 2020 general election, Biden stands an excellent chance of being a thrice failed candidate for POTUS.

Check out this recently unearthed clip of Biden sounding eerily similar to Trump when it comes to Mexico – and it’s not from that long ago.

LOOK:

A review of rhetoric from Joe Biden’s record on immigration. It included boasting about needing a 700 mile fence to stop “tons…tons…tons” of drugs from “corrupt Mexico” in 2006. Jailing employers who hire “illegals” and not allowing sanctuary cities.

Fraternal Order of Police Responds to LeBron James’ Tweet Fiasco

And they were NOT happy.

The politicization of American sports has been ongoing for some time, perhaps decades, but the most recent acceleration of this melding has come thanks to the power of social media and the blurring of the line between celebrity and athlete. At the forefront of this movement has been the NBA, and, more specifically, superstar LeBron James. This week, James came under fire for a tweet in which he referenced the Derek Chauvin trial’s guilty verdicts, with a photo of another officer who was involved in the shooting of a young black girl and text stating “you’re next”. The tweet was seen as a threat by many, including the Fraternal Order of Police who responded harshly. On Wednesday, James tweeted a photo of the officer involved in the shooting with a caption reading “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” The tweet has since been deleted. James was reacting to the deadly police shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant. Hours later, the National Fraternal Order of Police tweeted a photo of James’ original tweet, saying: “[email protected], with his vast resources & influence, should educate himself and, frankly, has a responsibility to do so, on the facts before weighing in. This is disgraceful & extremely reckless. The officer saved a young girl’s life. No amount of gaslighting will change that fact.” James attempted to walk back the tweet after deleting it, by issuing an explanation that garnered only a lukewarm response online.

Biden Administration Reveal Unwieldy Goal for Greenhouse Emissions

Is this The Green New Deal decentralized?

Published

on

As the White House returned to Democratic control in the early days of 2021, there was a real hope among those on the left side of the aisle that this would bring about a new prioritization of climate issues, and possibly even the “Green New Deal”. That plan, which was buoyed by the involvement of social media maven and Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was quickly labeled a deal-breaker by Republicans, and any mention of the Green New Deal would bring with it a great deal of political gravity. So, instead of pushing forward under the banner of that now-tainted name, President Joe Biden is simply decentralizing the plan and pulling several different climate levers at once. President Joe Biden is pledging to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 50% to 52% by 2030, in the latest push by the administration to aggressively combat climate change. The target, announced Thursday, more than doubles the country’s prior commitment under the 2015 Paris climate agreement, when the Obama administration set out to cut emissions 26% to 28% below 2005 levels by 2025. The U.S. is currently not yet halfway to meeting that goal. Biden’s pledge on Earth Day is in line with what environmental groups and hundreds of executives at major companies have pushed for. The president announce the target at the closely watched global leaders’ climate summit on Thursday, during which he hopes to urge global cooperation to address the climate crisis. Make no mistake about it:  This is still the Green New Deal…the left just isn’t brave enough to call it that.
