Ocasio-Cortez Scams Constituents Out of $11,000, May Have BROKEN Federal Election Law
Before the “fund run” began, freshman Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) told participants, “We’re getting together for our own health, for our planet’s health … and to fight for the Green New Deal together.“
But there’s a catch.
The participants did not know they were contributing to AOC’s 2020 re-election bid.
In other words, she scammed her way to the bank to the tune of $11,000.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez held a 5k in Queens Saturday that she billed as “a Family Fun Run supporting U.S. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal on the Saturday following Earth Day.”
But many of the 400 runners didn’t realize their $30 registration fees were going directly into the lawmaker’s campaign coffers.
An AOC spokesman later confirmed, “It was a campaign fundraiser.“
Environmentally conscious supporters — who jogged through Astoria Park alongside a beaming, strolling AOC — believed their money was going to help save the planet.

But by fudging the fact that those fees were actually campaign contributions, AOC may have enticed constituents into inadvertently breaking federal election laws.
One participant noted, “The site says it’s to benefit her environmental plan. If it is going to go directly to her campaign they should have said so.“
Speaker Nancy Pelosi needs freshmen like Ilhan Omar (MN), Rashida Tlaib (MI), and, especially, Ocasio-Cortez, to know who is in charge of the Democrat Party.
Time after time Pelosi has put AOC in her place, with this latest barb going for the jugular.
Nancy literally – literally – said, a “glass of water with a ‘D’ next to it” could win Ocasio-Cortez’s district.
Pelosi noted, “This is about winning. When we have to go into the districts we have to win, we have to cull that to what we have in common with those people.“
She added, “This glass of water would win with a ‘D’ next to it in those districts. But that’s not where we have to win elections.“

Pelosi broke dozens of hearts by mocking freshman Ocasio-Cortez on “60 Minutes” with host, Lesley Stahl.
It was blatant. It was obvious.
In other words, Nancy needs AOC to know who is boss.
Stahl: “So you are contending with a group in Congress: Over here on the left flank are these self-described socialists, on the right, these moderates. And you yourself said that you’re the only one who can unify everybody. And the question is can you?“
Pelosi: “By and large, whatever orientation they came to Congress with, they know that we have to hold the center. That we have to go down the mainstream.“
Stahl: “You have these wings– AOC, and her group on one side–.“
Pelosi: “That’s like five people.“
And boom goes the dynamite!
OUCH! Five whole people, huh?
You just know that has to hurt Ocasio-Cortez’s feelings.
