Democrat Socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY) said on a Sunday morning show that’s there’s a good chance President Trump wins re-election.

Trump saw her words and sent the following tweet:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. “I think we have a very real risk of losing the Presidency to Donald Trump.” I agree, and that is the only reason they play the impeach card, which cannot be legally used!

AOC then responded directly to POTUS.

Her words:

Mr. President, you’re from Queens.

You may fool the rest of the country, but I’ll call your bluff any day of the week.

Opening an impeachment inquiry is exactly what we must do when the President obstructs justice, advises witnesses to ignore legal subpoenas, & more.

Bye ????????

Wow! No respect whatsoever for the world’s most powerful man.

Sounds about right coming from a Democrat.

From Newsweek:

Speaking on This Week, Ocasio-Cortez said she wants the Democratic Party to pick a presidential candidate that will “fight for the well-being of working-class Americans and all Americans,” later adding that she feels policies from Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) and Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) accomplish those goals.

“I think we need to pick a candidate that is going to be exciting to vote for, that all people: women, people of all genders, races, income levels, geographies feel excited and good about voting for,” the congresswoman added.

To begin the 18-minute interview, Ocasio-Cortez was also asked on her stance towards impeaching Trump, despite Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi remaining hesitant about the move, drawing criticism from some progressive Democrats.

It looks like conservative Senator Ted Cruz (TX) and far-left radical Ocasio-Cortez are set to team up.

What do you think of this…?

From Daily Wire:

On Thursday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) — a duo in Congress who could not have more polarized views on most issues — signaled support in a potential bill targeting congressmen-turned-lobbyists, AKA “the swamp.”

AOC tweeted:

If you are a member of Congress + leave, you shouldn’t be allowed to turn right around&leverage your service for a lobbyist check.

I don’t think it should be legal at ALL to become a corporate lobbyist if you’ve served in Congress.

At minimum there should be a long wait period.

Cruz’s response:

Here’s something I don’t say often: on this point, I AGREE with @AOC Indeed, I have long called for a LIFETIME BAN on former Members of Congress becoming lobbyists. The Swamp would hate it, but perhaps a chance for some bipartisan cooperation?

AOC fired back:

[email protected] if you’re serious about a clean bill, then I’m down.

Let’s make a deal.

If we can agree on a bill with no partisan snuck-in clauses, no poison pills, etc – just a straight, clean ban on members of Congress becoming paid lobbyists – then I’ll co-lead the bill with you.

Cruz’s retort:

You’re on.

AOC once more:

Okay, with @brianschatz + @tedcruz we’ve got at least one D-R team in the Senate to ban members becoming lobbyists, & myself w/ @chiproytx makes at least one D-R team in the House.

And that’s just in a few hours – there will surely be more from both parties to sign on.

Nice ????????

Save conservative media!

Former President Barack Obama Says Riots Are ‘Detracting From The Larger Cause’

Published

on

Former President Barack Obama came out and denounced the rioting and violence that has taken place over the last several days in the wake of the death of George Floyd, saying that the chaos is detracting from the larger cause and goals of legitimate, peaceful protesters who want to see real change occur in the country. Obama penned a piece that was published on the website, Medium, where he wrote, “The small minority of folks who’ve resorted to violence in various forms, whether out of genuine anger or mere opportunism, are putting innocent people at risk, compounding the destruction of neighborhoods that are often already short on services and investment and detracting from the larger cause.” Here’s more from the Washington Examiner: Obama recalled seeing a video of an elderly black woman crying about the only grocery store in her neighborhood being vandalized, noting the detrimental effects such destruction has on communities in need. “If history is any guide, that store may take years to come back. So let’s not excuse violence, or rationalize it, or participate in it. If we want our criminal justice system, and American society at large, to operate on a higher ethical code, then we have to model that code ourselves,” Obama wrote. Obama asked that individuals who are not pleased with the current state of the justice system in our country and the police actions that are an extension of that system, they need to focus more on change at the local level and participate more in local and state elections. Not bad advice, honestly. “If, going forward, we can channel our justifiable anger into peaceful, sustained, and effective action, then this moment can be a real turning point in our nation’s long journey to live up to our highest ideals,” the former president…

Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany Says Oval Office Address Not Enough To Stop Antifa

Published

on

White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany recently signaled that the chances of hearing President Trump address the country in the wake of the riots exploding around the country due to the death of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer are slim, stating that an address from the Oval Office won’t do anything to dissuade Antifa from stirring up trouble. McEnany has been asked this question about the president addressing the situation numerous times already, and her answer has consistently been that he has spoken on the issue many times. Check out the details from The Washington Examiner: “He has addressed the absolutely horrific video of George Floyd. He’s routinely addressed … the issue of law and order in our streets. He’s issued several statements. … A national Oval Office address is not going to stop antifa. What’s going to stop antifa is action, and this president has committed to acting on this,” McEnany said Monday on Fox & Friends. McEnany tweeted Sunday that the media “FASLELY” reported that Trump has been “‘silent'” on Floyd’s death. She shared a quote in which the president called the killing a “tragedy.” President Trump has pointed the finger at radical left-wing group Antifa for a lot of the violence that has broken out across the country, stating that the US was soon to designate the group a terrorist organization. In all honesty, that is a move that is long, long overdue. Antifa has been responsible for a lot of politically motivated violence over the last few years and it is time for them to pay the piper. Five thousand National Guard troops have now been activated and deployed to some of the cities being hit hard by the civil unrest to help quiet things down a bit. McEnany did say the…
