Ocasio-Cortez Upset That Non-Citizens Won't Get $1200 Coronavirus Stimulus Checks
Rookie lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has said some pretty crazy things in the past. However, she may have just one-upped herself like never before on Thursday evening.
See for yourself, via Breitbart:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) expressed outrage on Thursday that the cash payment portion of the economic relief package, which the Senate unanimously passed Wednesday night, does not extend to noncitizens.
Advertisement - story continues belowThe Senate unanimously approved of the historic coronavirus emergency relief measure on Wednesday evening after days of partisan battles. As many Republican leaders have stated, the passed bill remains virtually the same as the original bill Democrats rejected on Sunday. It provides aid for small businesses, creates a lending aid program, and delivers cash assistance directly into the pockets of American citizens.
LOOK:
To clarify, $1200 checks are ONLY going to some w/social sec numbers, NOT immigrants w/ tax IDs (ITINs).
Thanks to GOP, these checks will be cut off the backs of *taxpaying immigrants,* who get nothing. Many are essential workers who pay more taxes than Amazon.
Wall St gets $4T

What Trump + Senate GOP have done is hold hospitals, working people, and the vulnerable hostage so they could get in $500 billion (that will be leveraged into $4T) in corporate welfare.
Without the Wall St giveaway, GOP refuses to fund hospitals & unemployment. It’s inhumane.

POTUS explicitly said his decisions will he guided by experts, naming Fauci & Birx specifically. Fauci has begged the media to stop trying to drive a wedge where none exists, noting that Trump has taken his advice every step of the way. I hate these stories & fringe Fauci smears. https://t.co/54FlYIqzRu
