OMAR OUT! Minnesotans are Ready to Give The Boot to The Bigot

Ilhan Omar has ushered in a new era of bigotry in democratic politics…but at what price?

Americans are a hopeful people, we truly are.

This hope likely stems from our overt perseverance, and our lack of “quit”, as they say.  We’ve seen it all, faced it all, and have achieved things that no other nation in the world can claim.

Heck, even our origins are incredibly impressive, having beaten the most powerful military force on the planet into retreating…all over taxes.

So, as hopeful Americans, we see a problem and we aim to fix it.  Such is the case in Minnesota where voters elected freshman Congresswoman Ilhan Omar to the House of Representatives, a woman who, once arriving in office, has unleashed repeated antisemitic arguments that have bewildered and infuriated this nation of equality.

And while some within the radical left have stood at Omar’s side, much of the nation, including her own constituents, are ready to send her packing.

Several party leaders said they have had discussions about finding a candidate to take on Omar, just two months into her first term in Congress.

“There’s definitely some buzz going around about it, but it’s more a buzz of is anyone talking about finding someone to run against her than it is anyone saying they’re going to run against her or contemplate it. There’s definitely talk about people wanting someone to run against her,” said state Sen. Ron Latz (D), who represents a portion of Omar’s district.

Of course, Omar’s abhorrent language offended a great may Jewish people in Minnesota.

“Our community is exasperated by Rep. Omar’s unfulfilled promises to listen and learn from Jewish constituents while seemingly simultaneously finding another opportunity to make an anti-Semitic remark and insult our community,” Steve Hunegs, executive director of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Minnesota and the Dakotas, said in a statement.

Omar has helped to define one of the major rifts in the divided democratic party, with a number of freshman congresspersons defending her anti-Israel stance publicly.

Devin Nunes Says ‘Deep State’ Exists And Is ‘Much Worse Than Even I Thought It Ever Was’

Published

on

For the last several years we’ve been hearing the term “deep state” from folks in the Trump administration as well as from conservative pundits and news organizations in reference to a secret, shadowy group of leftist individuals within the government working against President Trump and his agenda for our country. Some folks have claimed this is all just a tinfoil hat kind of conspiracy theory, but if what Rep. Devin Nunes says is true, then not only is this network of resistance defectors real, it’s far worse than we could have imagined. Here’s more on this story from The Washington Examiner: California Rep. Devin Nunes, the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee, spoke to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Wednesday about his efforts to raise awareness of bureaucracy within the federal government believed to be undermining President Trump. “One thing that I tell the American people every time that I speak and I go out on the road and I talk to people is that, remember, the deep state here is much worse than even I thought it ever was,” Nunes said in an interview along with Rep. Jim Jordan, an Ohio Republican, to talk about efforts to renew and reform parts of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. Trump’s distrust of people inside the White House and the federal government has intensified since his impeachment and acquittal, and he believes his government is filled with “snakes” he wants to be fired and replaced. Steps are already being taken to weed them out. A network of conservative activists led by Ginni Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, is helping compile detailed memos of disloyal government officials they want to be fired, while also finding Trump loyalists to replace them, according to Axios. According to Nunes, the…

Former GOP Presidential Candidate Herman Cain Slams Bernie Sanders; Says ‘Democratic Socialism Doesn’t Exist’

Published

on

Conservative pundit and former GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain recently went after Sen. Bernie Sanders, the current top contender for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination, stating that Sanders’ version of “Democratic socialism” does not exist. Sanders has had a bit of a rough week after making some rather controversial statements praising some of the “good” done by communist dictator Fidel Castro during his time in Cuba, comments he later doubled down on instead of backing away from. Here’s more on this from The Washington Examiner: “Bernie Sanders would have you believe that he is not like the socialists who have ruined Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and — going back a few years — all of Eastern Europe,” Cain wrote in an opinion article in the Western Journal. “Oh sure, he agrees with many of their economic ideas, but don’t worry. He’s a democratic socialist, and that’s different.” Cain then said, “Democratic socialism doesn’t exist. That’s because it can’t exist, because socialism can’t take hold in a truly democratic system.” “In order for socialism to ‘work,’ the state has to take control of major industries like health care, energy and manufacturing,” he wrote. “It has to confiscate massive amounts of private wealth. It has to control the means of production and distribution. It has to control wages and prices. It has to monopolize things like higher education.” Sanders has been riding high off victories in New Hampshire and Nevada and has stated that he believes Democratic socialism will lead to political and economic freedom for people in every community. The Vermont senator has accused President Trump and others on the right side of the political spectrum of fear mongering concerning his socialist views and policies, particularly when it comes to the issues of healthcare, the economy, and climate change. The fact that…
