Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez receives a lot of attention because of all the silly things she says.

There is no other reason. At all.

Now, female members of her own party are telling AOC to pump the brakes because girl be actin’ cray!

From Roll Call:

Five freshman Democratic women in the House want the world to know that the newcomers receiving the most attention so far in the 116th Congress aren’t reflective of the women who ran and won in tough districts last fall.

At an event to tout their formation of a joint fundraising committee to tap each other’s donors (and hopefully bring in more), the five, all with military or intelligence backgrounds, never mentioned New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez by name.

But the message from Reps. Elaine Luria and Abigail Spanberger of Virginia, Elissa Slotkin of Michigan, Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania was clear: Ocasio-Cortez doesn’t represent them, and she’s not the one who’s going to help Democrats maintain their majority.

Slotkin noted, “There’s been an overwhelming focus on a small number of members in our caucus who did not flip seats, who did not help win the House, who are doing what is right for their districts, but who don’t represent our districts, or at least my district.

The New York Times thinks “men at Fox News” continue to pick on AOC because she’s soooo good looking and they could never land her in high school.

Ummm…sounds a little sexist, doesn’t it?

Did the NYT just reduce AOC to an object? Hmmm.

LOOK:

The men at Fox News have a sickly obsession with AOC, partly because they resent her cleverness, charisma and moral vitality, but mostly because they suspect that in high school she was one of those girls they had no hope of getting a date with

Reactions:

when you’re so woke you explain a female politician by her sex appeal

AOC is the perfect person to cover for Republicans. She constantly makes a fool of herself while Democrats have had no choice but to back everything she’s said and done because she’s become so powerful. In many ways, AOC is becoming the new face of their party. It’s amazing.

This is quite sexist, actually. @AOC has a mind and ideas that men can have a problem with. You just “mostly” reduced her to an object. You NYT Opinion folks are really on a hateful roll lately, eh?

Conservatives: The Green New Deal’s socialist policies would be economic suicide.

New Yorkers: You cost us tens of thousands of jobs.

Nancy Pelosi: You are a small fringe in the party. Democrats reject socialism.

NYT Opion: yOu HaVe A sUcH a cRuSh ????

NYT doing their best to boost AOC’s self-confidence. They’ve become TEEN VOGUE.

There’s something off about the way a lot of progressive dudes talk about AOC and I can’t put my finger on it but it looks like this:

Save conservative media!

Al Sharpton’s Failed 2004 Campaign For President Is Still Close To $1M In Debt

Published

on

Rev. Al Sharpton once ran for president — hilarious, right? — back in 2004 and his presidential campaign was a complete and total disaster. How much of a disaster was it? Well, it’s been fifteen years since he ran the campaign and it’s still $900,000 in debt. Of course, Sharpton also hasn’t paid off his massive tax debts in a very long time, so perhaps the notion that this particular race baiting individual doesn’t pay his bills isn’t all that surprising. Here’s more on this from Washington Examiner: “I have asked Andrew Rivera, the finance chair of my 2004 campaign, to set up a meeting with the Federal Election Commission so that I can resolve any campaign debts related to Sharpton 2004,” Sharpton told the New York Post over the weekend. “I am willing to work out a settlement for all claims with my own money to the degree that I’m allowed and will raise money directly.” He added, “Even if I am not legally liable for it, I am certainly morally responsible.” Sharpton is not personally on the hook for the money 15 years later. Instead, it’s his campaign committee and specifically his campaign treasurer, Andrew Rivera, who are responsible. Jerri Ann Henry, a consultant with an extensive work history with campaigns and PACS said, “It does reflect poorly on the people at the helm. I have worked for candidates who I know have taken great pains to make sure staff and consultants are taken care of. Frankly, almost a million dollars, that’s a lot of money. Today’s campaigns spend at that level all the time, but that is very significant coming all the way back in 2004.” This isn’t the first time Sharpton’s campaign has run into trouble. He also ran into some problems with the Federal Election…

Bloomberg Claim Of Being Able To ‘Teach Anybody To Be A Farmer’ Resurfaces; It’s Slammed As Being ‘Embarrassingly Ignorant’

Published

on

Democratic presidential candidate and former mayor Michael Bloomberg has been getting raked over the coals for the last few weeks as more and more video footage continues to be unearthed of him saying rather unsavory things that seem to be turning off leftist voters everywhere. First, it was video of him saying rather racist things concerning the Stop and Frisk policy in New York City, then comments about women popped up, then statements about allowing elderly people with cancer to die, and now a comment about him being able to teach anyone to be a farmer. This guy was obviously delusional to even consider a run for president with this kind of stuff in his closet. No amount of campaign spending for commercials is going to save him now. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: A clip of Bloomberg lecturing at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School in 2016 resurfaced over the weekend and sparked outrage from the Left and the Right on Twitter. In the footage, the former New York City mayor said that people need more “gray matter” to do the technological jobs of the Information Age than those in agrarian or industrial societies. “The agrarian society lasted 3,000 years,” he said. “I could teach anybody … to be a farmer. It’s a process. You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, you add water, up comes the corn. “Then we had 300 years of the industrial society. You put the piece of metal on the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow, and you can have a job,” Bloomberg continued. The now-presidential candidate went on to distinguish the “information economy” from all preceding time periods. “The information economy is fundamentally different because it’s built around replacing people with…
