Petty New Paperback Aims to Expose Trump as Cheater…in Golf

Given the current state of our nation, the President’s golf habits seems like an entirely silly thing to write a book about.

As 2019 grinds forward, preparing to make way for yet another tumultuous election season, it seems that anything is fair game in the realm of mudslinging against our President.

This shouldn’t be seen as a wholly new phenomenon, however, as Donald Trump has been in the crosshairs of a number of schemes and scams aimed at detracting from his presidency, or calling the legitimacy of it into question.  RussiaGate was merely the most obtuse and most widely reported bit of “resistance” schtick out there, but a whole myriad of other attempts to delegitimize and embarrass the President have been ongoing for some time.

The latest, and maybe the pettiest of these attacks is now upon us in the form of an entire book about the ways in which the President cheats at golf.

From pulling a fast one on Tiger Woods to exaggerating his handicap, Donald Trump’s alleged misdeeds on and around the golf course are the subject of a new book by former Sports Illustrated columnist Rick Reilly, “Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump.” Reilly documents dozens of examples of underhanded golf behavior by the president, transgressions talked about by pro golfers and duffers alike.

“In golf, he’s definitely not exonerated,” Reilly told The Associated Press. “There’s been dozens and dozens of people that can declare him guilty of cheating.”

What can someone expect from such a misguided missive?

One infamous instance came in a 2017 round with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson, who is the current No. 1 player in the world. The president’s playing partner, Fox Sports golf analyst Brad Faxon, reported that Trump’s offenses included putting down a score that didn’t account for two balls he hit into the water on one hole.

“You’ve heard so much about it, it’s almost like you want to witness it so you can tell the stories,” Faxon is quoted as saying.

The book goes on to recount the comical, almost zany allegations that Trump’s caddies and even members of his Secret Service detail will nonchalantly improve the President’s lie when out on the course.

After such a thorough accounting of the President’s time on the links, only one question remains:  Who cares?

Resistance Agitators Deface Trump Hollywood Star with Profane Putin Parable

The “resistance” is but a symptom of our sick society, and we are running out of time to turn it around.

The “resistance” to President Trump is nothing more than a symptom of a sick society, and none of us are completely innocent. We’ve fallen victim to the mainstream media’s “infotainment” whims for so long that we no longer resemble the nation were were built to be.  Instead of free thinkers, focusing on liberty and pursuit of happiness, we’ve shuffled ourselves into tiny little boxes marked “red” and “blue”, or “democrat” and “republican”. And I get it, it’s exhilarating to argue on the internet with one another and gain those bits of validation from our peers, but we are producing a much larger problem than the hurt feelings on Facebook.  We are falling victim to the sensationalism of the mainstream publishers because, now, thanks to social media, we are all publishers. It is this false dichotomy that created the “resistance” to President Trump, and it’s the “resistance” who are dragging our national state of mind back into the early 1860’s, as evidenced by the latest defacing of President Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. We must warn you, the language ahead is profane. President Trump’s Walk of Fame star got a fresh coat of paint, but he ain’t gonna be thrilled about it … because it was spray paint and it spelled out … “Putin’s Bitch.” Trump’s star was attacked again early Wednesday morning, and TMZ has the footage of the vandals in the act. Around 3:40 AM … one guy — who appears to have blonde hair — sprayed a coat of black paint over the star. Then, in white paint, he added his coup de grace. There was another man with the vandal … shooting photos and/or video. The graffiti is alluding to a widely held conspiracy theory among opponents of the President that the Oval Office has somehow been compromised…

President Trump Contradicts Mueller Report on Key Democratic Concern

The President is claiming that Don McGhan’s sworn testimony in the Mueller report is a lie.

The fight over the public perception of the Mueller report has been raging in Washington and on television for the last several days, and there looks to be no end in sight. The media is doing their thing, whatever that thing seems to be.  They are dividing the nation up into easily definable segments as a way to pit us against each other, because an angry America makes for great ratings. Politicians are certainly doing their part as well, with democratic lawmakers insisting on a nonstop issuance of subpoenas to those involved in the report’s manufacture, as well as some legal requests from way outside the realm of RussiaGate. Amid all this, the President is standing firm in his insistence that there was “no collusion, no obstruction”, even going so far today as to cast doubts on the authenticity of the testimony of his own aides. President Donald Trump denied Thursday he ordered White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller. “As has been incorrectly reported by the Fake News Media, I never told then-White House Counsel Don McGahn to fire Robert Mueller, even though I had the legal right to do so,” the president wrote on Twitter. “If I wanted to fire Mueller, I didn’t need McGahn to do it, I could have done it myself.” Trump noted that ultimately Mueller was not fired and was allowed to complete his investigation, even though there was no crime to investigate. Robert Mueller’s report on Russian interference on the 2016 election contained sworn testimony from McGhan to the contrary, and this is one of the key points of the democratic party’s renewed interest in the possibility of charging the President with obstruction of justice.
