Poll Shows Dem 2020 Frontrunners Tied, But Neither is Even Running

Boy, oh boy, is the democratic party in a real pickle for the 2020 presidential race.

So far, the left has been using what could be described as a “spray and pray” method of finding a candidate to run against the presumed republican ticket of Trump/Pence.

Some of those who’ve stuck to the wall are starting to slide, like unready spaghetti.  Kamala Harris, for example, has had to resort to begging for donations only a few months into her campaign.

On the other side of the coin, however, Bernie Sander raised $6 million in just one day.

Sanders, 77, entered the 2020 presidential race Tuesday morning. His campaign announced 14 hours later that 150,000 donors had contributed $4 million to the effort. By Wedesday morning that number reached $6 million.

At least $600,000 of that haul came in the form of contributions that will renew monthly.

While impressive, Bernie isn’t even the frontrunner at this point.  In fact, in what must be an embarrassing realization for the DNC, neither of the supposed “frontrunners” are even technically running.

Former first lady Michelle Obama tied with former Vice President Joe Biden as the top choice among Democratic voters when asked who should be the party’s nominee in 2020.

A Hill-HarrisX poll released Tuesday found that 25 percent of Democrats said they would back Obama in the party primary over nine other declared or potential candidates, including Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas).

Obama has said she is not running, and Biden has not announced whether he will launch another White House bid.

Kamala Harris took the third place position in the poll.
