President Biden Claims Persistent Cough is Not COVID-Related

But Fox’s Peter Doocy had to ask anyway.

When the nation elected Joe Biden, there were concerns…not only about the possibility that he’d be able achieve much of anything, but also about his age and health.

Biden has never been all that slick with his words, and this is not a dig at his battle with a speech impediment:  He just says a whole lot of awfully goofy and incorrect things. It’s a lot of what he’s known for, and it’s made the job of the writers at Saturday Night Live much easier.

Cognitive function aside, Biden’s sheer age has been a concern as well, especially during a pandemic.

One Fox News reporter appeared to show concern for the President’s persistence cough this week, but Biden has insisted that it’s nothing to worry about.

Fox News’s Peter Doocy noticed President Joe Biden’s voice was a little different Friday and as such, queried about his health, asking “are you okay?”

The inquiry came at the end of remarks given in the White House following jobs report that MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinksi described to Jen Psaki as “off.” Fox News’ chyron, however, blared “DISAPPOINTING,’  an assessment which was not unfair.

“First of all, Mr. President, your voice sounds different. Are you okay?” Doocy asked

His answer?

“I’m okay. I have a test every day to — covid test,” Biden explained. “What I have is a 1 1/2-year-old grandson who had a cold who likes to kiss his pop and he has been kissing me anyway. But it is just a cold.” Doocy followed with a question about Covid-19 and the administration’s efforts to continue to mitigate the spread of the potentially deadly pathogen.

President Biden announced new stricter rules for international travelers coming into the US on Thursday, on account of the latest news surrounding the omicron variant.

“I literally have no idea what he’s doing.”

One year into the Biden presidency, and it certainly doesn’t appear as though the 46th President of these United States has any plan to right the ship.

Biden, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, have been characterized as being asleep at the wheel of the nation, with the Commander in Chief himself appearing to be truly reluctant to govern at all.  (The Democrats did have to coax him into running in the first place, so perhaps we should not be surprised).

This unwillingness to make change has Americans brutally punishing the President in the polls.

President Biden faced criticism from over soaring gas prices, inflation and his policies as his approval rating sank to 33% in a recent poll.

“I give him a minus 10,” Stuart, of Tucson, said when asked to grade Biden on a scale of 1-10.

“If you like inflation, you like illegal criminals coming across the border, if you like where he killed the gasoline,” he continued.

Arland, of San Francisco, gave Biden a seven and said, “I think he’s got his heart in the right place, but his policies don’t have that much effect.”

And then, succinctly:

Sanjoy, from Arizona, also gave the president a seven, but said, “I literally have no idea what he’s doing.”

Other polling has also suggested that the Democratic Party is seeking to replace Biden on the 2024 ticket, despite the President’s assurances that he plans to run again.
