President Trump and Family Sue Congress Over Tax Tussle

The President is fighting back against the “resistance” democrats who subpoenaed his tax returns…but will the tactic work?

Democrats the nation over are digging in their heels after the release of the Mueller report, vowing to continue “resisting” the President no matter what, and by any means necessary.

The media have done their part by continuing to divide the nation down political lines in ways that our nation hasn’t seen since The Civil War.  These cable-news cheerleaders are hoping that the nation erupts into chaos, as it will provide them with juicy, can’t-miss television to fuel their advertisers.

In this continued crusade to somehow “get” the President, a number of prominent democrats are now revisiting the fight to have the President’s tax returns made public…something that Trump himself has fought nail and tooth against.

President Donald Trump and his business filed suit against Democratic House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings on Monday to block a subpoena sent last week seeking information about the president’s finances.

In the complaint filed in Washington, D.C., federal court Monday morning, Trump’s lawyers said that Democrats have “declared all-out political war” against him.

“Subpoenas are their weapon of choice,” the filing states.

The lawsuit comes just days after a congressional committee filed subpoenas for several years’ worth of Donald Trump’s tax returns.

The President has long avoided making such records public, citing advice from his lawyers regarding ongoing federal audits of the data.

Trump Destroys Washington Post For ‘Fake News’ About Battle With ‘The Squad’

This is why people love Trump.

President Trump took to Twitter on Sunday and Monday to do what he does best and completely annihilate the Washington Post over “fake news” report about his battle against radical leftist congresswomen now known as “The Squad.” The Washington Post plastered as story on their front page with the headline, “A Twitter storm and its aftermath,” which takes a deep look at the aftermath of Trump’s “racist” tweets telling Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley to “go back” to their countries of origin if they hate America. However, it’s important to note that such a statement wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense seeing as how only Omar was born outside of the United States. Here’s more from The Daily Wire: “The Washington Post Story, about my speech in North Carolina and tweet, with its phony sources who do not exist, is Fake News,” Trump tweeted Sunday. “The only thing people were talking about is the record setting crowd and the tremendous enthusiasm, far greater than the Democrats. You’ll see in 2020!” He followed that tweet by repeating a phrase that’s become one of his refrains about how the media treats him: “Presidential Harassment!” The president then once again emphasized why he has singled out the Squad: “I don’t believe the four Congresswomen are capable of loving our Country. They should apologize to America (and Israel) for the horrible (hateful) things they have said. They are destroying the Democrat Party, but are weak & insecure people who can never destroy our great Nation!” On Monday, the president tweeted the following: “The Amazon Washington Post front page story yesterday was total Fake News. They said ‘Advisors wrote new talking points and handed him reams of opposition research on the four Congresswomen.’ Now really, does that sound like…

Justice Department Watchdog Claims To Have Evidence Comey Secretly Investigated Trump

Comey’s a total snake.

When it comes to the investigation into possible Russia collusion concerning President Trump’s 2016 campaign, there’s a lot of unanswered questions, especially when it comes to the folks who were deadset on pushing this narrative in the media and tarnishing the president’s reputation. One of those questions has to do with why former FBI Director James Comey was privately telling Trump that he was not the subject of an ongoing probe, while also refusing to say that same thing out in public. That refusal is what sparked Comey’s termination from the FBI, the appointment of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, and the whole charge that the president obstructed justice. Well, it seems there might be an answer emerging from the shadows, thanks to a Justice Department watchdog. via Real Clear Investigations: Now an answer is emerging. Sources tell RealClearInvestigations that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz will soon file a report with evidence indicating that Comey was misleading the president. Even as he repeatedly assured Trump that he was not a target, the former director was secretly trying to build a conspiracy case against the president, while at times acting as an investigative agent. Two U.S. officials briefed on the inspector general’s investigation of possible FBI misconduct said Comey was essentially “running a covert operation against” the president, starting with a private “defensive briefing” he gave Trump just weeks before his inauguration. They said Horowitz has examined high-level FBI text messages and other communications indicating Comey was actually conducting a “counterintelligence assessment” of Trump during that January 2017 meeting in New York. Along with the addition of notes of his meetings and the phone calls he conducted with Trump to the official FBI case file, Comey also had an agent at the White House that reported to FBI headquarters with information…
