President Trump Tweets Photo Of Himself As ‘Rocky’ Ahead Of Impeachment Hearings

Published

on

President Trump, who has a strong trolling game on social media, recently posted up a picture of his head superimposed over the head of famous film character Rocky Balboa, as played by mega film star Sylvester Stallone.

The tweet did not include any sort of context or caption that would explain its purpose, came not long after the news that polls showed voters are souring on the idea of impeachment as the House prepares for more impeachment hearings.

Trump took aim at Democrats and their impeachment efforts at a rally held on Tuesday.

Here’s more from Fox News:

“First it was the Russia hoax,” Trump said. “And now the same maniacs are pushing the deranged … impeachment” narrative.

For the past few months, Trump has been fending off accusations that he sought to influence the 2020 election by pressuring Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

The president and Republicans have denied any wrongdoing and repeatedly portrayed Trump as the victim of a partisan attempt to overturn the 2016 election.

As you can probably imagine, President Trump received a lot of backlash over the photoshopped photograph. Some individuals mocked him for his physical appearance, noting that he was not nearly in as good of shape as Rocky once was.

Many think the photo is symbolic of Trump’s attitude going into a second round of impeachment hearings being spearheaded by the House Judiciary Committee.

Dem Mayor Defies Stay-At-Home Order to Get Haircut Because She’s ‘Face of This City’

Do as I say, not as I do.

Do as I say, not as I do. That should be the Democrat Party’s official motto. There’s no denying that liberals are raging hypocrites on most issues. Why not just come out and admit it? Who do they think they’re fooling? Check out what the liberal mayor of Chicago just did that regular Joe’s can’t do right now because of the pandemic, via Chicago Sun-Times: Getting your roots done isn’t essential, but getting your hair cut apparently is — at least if you’re the mayor of Chicago. Mayor Lori Lightfoot Monday defended getting her hair cut over the weekend at a time when beauty parlors are shut down. Lightfoot said, “I’m in the public every day. And candidly, my hair was not looking the way it did. I thought maybe I’d do it myself, but I knew that would be disaster.” She added, “But I think what really people want to talk about is, we’re talking about people dying here. We’re talking about significant health disparities. I think that’s what people care most about.” A Lightfoot tweet from a week ago: https://twitter.com/chicagosmayor/status/1244762897743351808?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1244762897743351808&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fchicago.suntimes.com%2Fcity-hall%2F2020%2F4%2F6%2F21211314%2Fgetting-roots-done-not-essential-getting-hair-cut-mayor-lightfoot VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ah7xQHo9WOQ Here’s more COVID-19 randomness, via Twitter… https://twitter.com/TwitchyTeam/status/1247345860758974464 https://twitter.com/NBCNews/status/1247358731790188544 https://twitter.com/FoxNews/status/1247340895013306370 https://twitter.com/thehill/status/1247357937896620032 https://twitter.com/RealSaavedra/status/1247357076378013696 https://twitter.com/ABC7News/status/1247360709123547137 https://twitter.com/MSDNCNews/status/1247355579892477953 https://twitter.com/ABC/status/1247357575697440769 https://twitter.com/wsvn/status/1247354661000097792 https://twitter.com/TMZ/status/1247350270507417600

How will they spin this one?

President Trump has been blasted left and right by Democrats and the mainstream media for promoting the drug hydroxychloroquine to treat coronavirus. Nevada’s liberal governor even banned the drug from his state just days before New York’s Democrat governor said he has seen positive results from hydroxychloroquine. Ultimately, it looks like the anti-malarial drug is working wonders for a lot of people all over the nation. And one Democrat who was infected with COVID-19 has some high praise for POTUS. From Detroit Free Press: LANSING – A Democratic state representative from Detroit is crediting hydroxychloroquine — and Republican President Donald Trump who touted the drug — for saving her in her battle with the coronavirus. State Rep. Karen Whitsett, who learned Monday she has tested positive for COVID-19, said she started taking hydroxychloroquine on March 31, prescribed by her doctor, after both she and her husband sought treatment for a range of symptoms on March 18. […] Whitsett said she was familiar with “the wonders” of hydroxychloroquine from an earlier bout with Lyme disease, but does not believe she would have thought to ask for it, or her doctor would have prescribed it, had Trump not been touting it as a possible treatment for COVID-19.
