President Trump Tweets Photo Of Himself As ‘Rocky’ Ahead Of Impeachment Hearings

Published

on

President Trump, who has a strong trolling game on social media, recently posted up a picture of his head superimposed over the head of famous film character Rocky Balboa, as played by mega film star Sylvester Stallone.

The tweet did not include any sort of context or caption that would explain its purpose, came not long after the news that polls showed voters are souring on the idea of impeachment as the House prepares for more impeachment hearings.

Trump took aim at Democrats and their impeachment efforts at a rally held on Tuesday.

Here’s more from Fox News:

“First it was the Russia hoax,” Trump said. “And now the same maniacs are pushing the deranged … impeachment” narrative.

For the past few months, Trump has been fending off accusations that he sought to influence the 2020 election by pressuring Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden.

The president and Republicans have denied any wrongdoing and repeatedly portrayed Trump as the victim of a partisan attempt to overturn the 2016 election.

As you can probably imagine, President Trump received a lot of backlash over the photoshopped photograph. Some individuals mocked him for his physical appearance, noting that he was not nearly in as good of shape as Rocky once was.

Many think the photo is symbolic of Trump’s attitude going into a second round of impeachment hearings being spearheaded by the House Judiciary Committee.

Black Lives Matter Activists And Pro-Cop Group Get In Confrontation In Brooklyn

Published

on

Pro-police activists clashed with Black Lives Matter protesters over the weekend in Bay Bridge Brooklyn, which happens to be an area where a lot of law enforcement officers tend to live. Videos of the incident were plastered all over social media over Saturday and Sunday, which featured a number of brawls exploding between the “Back the Blue” group and BLM activists on Fourth Avenue and 65th Street. Things got so heated that police were required to put a stop to things. Five individuals were arrested. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “Massive police presence in Bay Ridge. Bike police shove the crowd, but the protesters do not disperse,” tweeted NYC Protest Updates 2020 (@protest_nyc). One video features an officer being hit with an egg, and other videos show protesters blocking a police vehicle with an arrested BLM protester inside from moving through a crowd. However, the fracas escalated when one BLM protester’s confrontation with an NYPD officer ended with the protester being tased, handcuffed, and arrested. “The NYPD no longer enforces the law. Cops are NOT allowed to make these arrest because Mayor DeBlasio prohibits arrest & encourages attacks, calling it peaceful protests he lies. When NYPD retreats the violence will come to YOU the people. BEWARE you’ve been WARNED!,” Ed Mullins, President of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, tweeted Sunday. New York City Councilman Justin Brannan who is a representative for the area spoke out against the violence on Twitter. He also announced he’ll meet with the NYPD at the 60th precinct to talk about the constant protests and the NYPD response. Things are getting so out of hand all across our great nation. People are so divided and full of hatred for one another. All of this is the result of propaganda pushed by the progressive movement who would…

Criminal Investigation Launched Into DA Who Charged Officers In Rayshard Brooks Shooting Expands

Published

on

The criminal investigation into Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard, the man who is responsible for charging police officers involved in the shooting of Rayshard Brooks, is being expanded by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, as new questions come to light concerning the grand jury subpoenas his office issued in the Brooks case. Chris Carr, Georgia Attorney General, asked the GBI to look further into Howard after Carr discovered information about the subpoenas. Here’s what we know so far via The Daily Wire: Howard issued grand jury subpoenas directing the Atlanta Police Department to turn over its “open investigation regarding Garrett Rolfe and the use of force incident.” Fox 5 Atlanta reports: The subpoena required that the documents be turned over for the “Grand Jury, June/July term on the of 14th day of July.” Other grand jury subpoenas were issued for phone and surveillance camera videos. Fox 5 reported that the subpoenas were issued while the grand jury was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic. The issuing of grand jury subpoenas while there is no grand jury could possibly be considered “an ethical or possibly criminal issue,” according to legal professionals interviewed by Fox 5. Gable Cino, a law professor who specializes in prosecutorial misconduct, spoke with the news network, saying, “It would be a violation of criminal law to make a knowingly false statement or misrepresentation in the subpoena which is a document that has been issued.” Howard is no stranger to controversy and possible corruption. The GBI had already launched an investigation into the district attorney earlier this year concerning a “mysterious salary supplement negotiated between Howard and then Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.” The negotiation directed a whopping $250,000 over a three-year period into a non-profit organization that was headed up by Howard’s office. Of that cash, Howard…
