Pro-Trump PACs Rake in The Dough, Setting Former POTUS Up with Massive War Chest

The sheer value of Trump’s coffers is nigh unprecedented.

Despite his arbitrary removal from both Twitter and Facebook, former President Donald Trump continues to exude a great deal of sway over the American political ecosystem…and he’s only going to get more influential from here.

Trump and his surrogates are still months away from officially announcing anything as far as 2024 goes, but, with the 2022 midterms just around the corner, the MAGA machine is already beginning to get tuned up.

And let’s just say that there is plenty of fuel in the tank, too.

Former President Donald Trump’s political committees brought in $82 million during the first half of 2021 and have $102 million in the bank, according to federal filings made public Saturday evening.

The figures, shared first with POLITICO, underscore the profound reach of Trump’s fundraising power. While the former president is out of office and has been deplatformed on social media sites, he maintains a massive online donor network that he could lean on should he wage a 2024 comeback bid.

The numbers are extraordinary, historically speaking.

The scenario is virtually unprecedented: Never in history has a former president banked nine figures’ worth of donations to power a political operation. Over the first six months of the year, Trump’s political groups whipped up supporters with baseless claims of election fraud to pull in cash on a scale similar to the GOP’s official political arms, the Republican National Committee and the party’s House and Senate campaign committees.

The numbers are undoubtedly troubling for liberals listening in from the left side of the aisle, as worries continue to grow about whether or not the Democrats have any shot at holding onto a majority in the House in 15 months’ time.

Biden Talks 2024 Running Mate as Dems Look to Replace Him on Ticket

How oblivious can a President be?

President Joe Biden, for perhaps the first time since he took office a year ago, is getting ahead of himself.

Our nation has largely found itself lambasting Sleepy Joe as one of the nation’s most reluctant leaders.  He was coerced into running for office in the first place, as the Democrats considered him the only solution for swaying midwestern moderates away from Donald Trump’s sometimes brash behavior. and he has governed very much like a man whose heart wasn’t in it to begin with.

This has led to no shortage of troubles for the Biden administration, all of which have been distilled down into some of the most abhorrent approval rating numbers in the modern era.  What’s more, there are a vast number of Democrats who recognized that he’ll be slaughtered in the 2024 election unless things change drastically, and many are openly suggesting that another candidate may be in order.

Despite this reality, Biden seems obliviously hellbent on having a rerun ticket in three years’ time.

President Biden said during a press briefing Wednesday that he expects Vice President Kamala Harris to be his running mate again in 2024 if he chooses to run, saying, “I think she’s doing a good job.”

And also:

Asked if he was satisfied with Harris’ work on voting rights after putting her in charge of the issue, and whether he would commit to making her his running mate in the next election if he runs, Biden said, “yes and yes.”

Asked to expand, Biden said, “there’s no need to. She’s going to be my running mate, number one. And number two, I did put her in charge. I think she’s doing a good job.”

Barring some catastrophic change in public opinion, perhaps former President and presumptive 2024 GOP candidate Donald Trump should go ahead and start picking out his cabinet.

Stephanie Grisham Makes Wild Claims About ‘Secret Meetings’ Ahead of Jan. 6th

The clear-headed among us will recognize this nothing-burger for what it is, however.

Not everything is a spy novel, or a Hollywood blockbuster.  Not every little political machination in our nation is some sort of clandestine and seismic event.  This is something that we all must remember during the hyperbole-laden headline-mongering that the January 6th committee is looking to drum up.

The group’s very existence appears to be hinged on the idea that Donald Trump is a wannabe dictator of some sort who tried to take over America 12 months and 2 weeks ago.  They appear ready to figuratively die on this hill, and they have no qualms with taking the absence of knowledge and fashioning it into something sinister – much like the conspiracy theorists that they love to deride so much.

For instance, there are now headlines swirling around the mainstream media that tell of “secret meetings” that Trump was having just ahead of the attack on the Capitol – the subject and substance of which is undeniably unknown.

Yet still, these are presented as insidious incidents that somehow prove something that they’ve been looking to prove for a long time…despite our complete lack of knowledge regarding the actual facts of the matter.

Former White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham told the House committee investigating the Capitol riot that former President Donald Trump had secret meetings in his residence in the days running up to January 6, The Guardian reported.

Two sources told The Guardian that she told the committee that Trump held the meetings, and that only a few of his aides were aware of them.

She said she was not sure exactly who attended but identified Trump’s chief of staff, Mark Meadows, and the White House chief usher Timothy Harleth, as two people who scheduled and directed participants to the meetings, The Guardian reported.

The infotainment industry’s sources claim that Grisham’s testimony was “more significant” than expected, but there is nothing unusual about the sitting US President having meetings in which not every single solitary person in the White House is included.

Nonetheless, Grisham’s nothing-burger continues to gain traction in the media.
