While Vladimir Putin has yet to give the world a satisfactory, sane reason for having invaded Ukraine back in February, there are plenty of credible theories as to what’s going through the Moscow madman’s mind.
Given the savagery of the war, and the nihilistic way in which Putin has been belligerently threatening the world at large, rumors of the leader’s cancer diagnosis continue to suggest that this fatalism will not soon fade.
This week, eagle-eyed observers noticed something peculiar about Putin’s hands, and it has the rumor mill buzzing once again.
VLADIMIR Putin has been pictured with suspected track marks from IV treatment on the back of his hand – amid rumours he’s suffering from cancer and crippling pain.
The propaganda videos show Putin trying to grasp a Russian soldier and exposing a mysterious mark on his hand in the process.
Ukrainian media was quick to pounce on the news.
Kyiv Post correspondent Jason Jay Smart shared the damning footage on Twitter claiming that “videos released by [Russian] Government news show what could be track marks, from IVs, on the hand of Putin”.Advertisement - story continues below
He also claimed Moscow released two videos: one heavily watermarked to supposedly mask Putin’s hand and another that doesn’t show them at all.
Russia’s state news hastily deleted the footage in a move that will add to speculation about Putin’s ill health.
Putin’s appearance has also given rise to speculation about his health, as the Russian President’s incredible puffiness is indicative of the use of long-term steroids.
