Remember: Dem Rep. Sends Staff to Mexico to Teach Migrants How to Beat Asylum System
Is this the bombshell to end all bombshells? Well, it could involve a sitting Democrat Congresswoman being in A LOT of trouble with the law – so yeah, it’s pretty big.
If you’ve never heard of Veronica Escobar, you have now. And maybe soon, if the mainstream media cares to report on this story, she’ll become a household name – for better or worse.
But obviously, worse.

Democrat Rep. Veronica Escobar (TX) is secretly sending staff to Mexico to find and coach migrants who are trying to enter the United States and is instructing them how to “exploit a loophole” to game the asylum process, multiple U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officials allege.
The Washington Examiner reports that, according to the National Border Patrol Council’s El Paso chapter and several CBP agents, Escobar’s staff is trying to find migrants that have been returned from El Paso, Texas to Mexico “under the ‘remain in Mexico’ policy, then coaching them to pretend they cannot speak Spanish to exploit a loophole letting them return to the U.S.”

Mark H. Metcalf, a former federal immigration judge, told the Examiner that a criminal case could be brought against Escobar if she is found to be involved in the alleged scheme, which amounts to fraud and making false statements to U.S. officials.
President Trump threatened Mexico with costly tariffs and they responded immediately.
Mexico backed down and will now do what they can to curb the flow of illegal immigration into the United States.
This was a monster victory for POTUS.
However, Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (CA) thinks Trump was the one who caved, not Mexico, due to pressure from “spineless” Congressional Republicans.
Spineless GOP Senators grew a backbone this week & finally stood up to their Dictator Trump on something: Mexico tariffs, also known as a TAX INCREASE on American consumers. Bet your bottom dollar, Trump will back off by the weekend. Just another bluff!

FACT: The joint US-Mexico declaration, which is less than 500 words long, requires Mexico to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING it isn't already doing.
It is not a "deal."

What is particularly infuriating is how much "objective" media coverage repeats the Trump narrative without pointing out the basic fact that Mexico didn't agree to do anything new.
