The mayor of Edinburg, Texas was just arrested for committing voter fraud.

The dude (and apparently his wife) rigged his own election.

Seems kind of weird that a public official has been held accountable for his actions. Maybe this could start a new trend?

The attorney general of Texas noted:

BREAKING: Mayor of Edinburg has been arrested for voter fraud.

Voter fraud is an affront to democracy and places the decision-making authority of the Texas electorate in the hands of those who have no right to make those choices.

From Houston Chronicle:

City of Edinburg Mayor Richard Molina and his wife, Dalia, are charged with illegal voting, a second-degree felony punishable by two to 20 years in jail and an up to $10,000 fine, related to his 2017 mayoral election. Molina unseated the incumbent Mayor Richard Garcia after winning by more than 1,200 votes in that election.

Hidalgo County District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez said in a statement Thursday that his office is appreciative of witnesses who came forward and cooperated with the investigation and encouraged anyone else with information to do the same.

Ken Paxton made it official not long ago.

Nearly 60,000 non-U.S. citizens voted in the Lone Star state.

Democrats say voter fraud isn’t a widespread issue.

The facts would beg to differ.

Check out Paxton’s tweet:

Texas Secretary of State David Whitley today issued an advisory to county voter registrars regarding voter registration list maintenance activities, which include identifying any non-U.S. citizens registered to vote in the State of Texas. For the past year, the Texas Secretary of State’s office has worked closely with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) to evaluate information regarding persons identified to not be citizens of the United States. This voter registration list maintenance activity is being conducted in accordance with federal and state law to ensure that only qualified voters – who must first and foremost be U.S. citizens – are registered to vote in Texas elections.

Through this evaluation, the Texas Secretary of State’s office discovered that a total of approximately 95,000 individuals identified by DPS as non-U.S. citizens have a matching voter registration record in Texas, approximately 58,000 of whom have voted in one or more Texas elections. Voting in an election in which the person knows he or she is not eligible to vote is a second-degree felony in the State of Texas. Upon receipt of this information, the Texas Secretary of State’s office immediately provided the data in its possession to the Texas Attorney General’s office, as the Secretary of State has no statutory enforcement authority to investigate or prosecute alleged illegal activity in connection with an election.

Voter fraud is certainly a problem in America, whether Democrats care to admit it or not.

The reason liberals won’t say anything about it is because Dems are behind the fraud 11 times out of 10.

Rigging elections works to their benefit the majority of the time – the DNC helping Hillary in 2016 notwithstanding.

Canada Responds to Trump’s Tariff Reversal in a BIG WAY

China may still be a holdout at this late stage, but Trump’s economic prowess is paying dividends up north.

President Trump is once again at the helm of the American economy, after a few embarrassing weeks of distraction by the delusional democrats, and we couldn’t be happier. As the CEO-in-Chief pushes forward on a number of trade initiatives designed to spur the American economy ever upwards, reaction from the world’s stage has been mixed. In China, trade talks have begun to stall as Beijing continues to play the only card they have:  Sheer economic size.  Closer to home, however, President Trump is capitalizing on the close relationship that the US has with Canada in order to drive home the USMCA. Canadian officials look to be fully on board. Canada will move quickly to ratify the new North American trade pact, Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said on Saturday, a day after the United States agreed to lift tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum. U.S. President Donald Trump had imposed the global “Section 232” tariffs of 25% on steel and 10% on aluminum in March 2018 on both Canada and Mexico on national security grounds, invoking a 1962 Cold War-era trade law. The metals tariffs were a major irritant for Canada and Mexico and had caused them to halt progress toward ratification of the new U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), the trilateral trade deal signed last year which will replace the 25-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). The language was unmistakable. “We were very clear that as long as the 232 tariffs were there it would be very, very hard for us to ratify the new NAFTA, and that is why we did not table the legislation,” Freeland said in an interview broadcast by CBC radio. “Now that that big obstacle is lifted, full steam ahead,” she said, without saying when the agreement would be presented to parliament, which closes down in…

Dog in Thailand with Three Legs Hailed as Hero After Saving Abandoned Newborn

And he did it all with only three legs.

We don’t deserve dogs. Sure, that has been said thousands of times over throughout the course of modern history, but the logic is still difficult to argue with even with all of that preparation. These creatures, after tens of thousands of years as our only true companion animal, have evolved into not only being fairly well dependent on us, but also to love us unconditionally, and in ways that we could only dream about. New research even suggests that owning dogs has altered the human genetic code, and that being a “dog person” is something that a DNA test can reveal. Furthermore, dogs are kind and caring in ways that we may never be able to replicate as a more sentient animal. Take the case of a peculiar pup in Thailand who this week saved a newborn baby from an unfathomable fate at the hands of its mother. A dog in northern Thailand has rescued a newborn baby after it was buried alive, allegedly by its teenage mother. The baby boy is said to have been abandoned by his mother, 15, to hide her pregnancy from her parents. Ping Pong the dog was barking and digging in a field in Ban Nong Kham village. Its owner says he then noticed a baby’s leg sticking out of the earth. Locals rushed the baby to hospital where doctors cleaned him up and declared he was healthy. Ping Pong, despite having lost a leg in a car accident, has always been a good boy. Ping Pong’s owner, Usa Nisaikha, says it lost the use of one of its legs after being hit by a car. He told Khaosod Newspaper: “I kept him because he’s so loyal and obedient, and always helps me out when I go to the fields to tend to my cattle.…
