Roger Stone Has Warning for Trump About Popular State Governor
While the GOP appears destined to walk away from the 2022 midterms with a rather sizable shift in Congress, there are still whispers of trouble within the party.
The friction between the MAGA wing of the party and the old guard has reached a bit of a boiling point of late, as the fate of the party’s direction hangs in the balance. It is widely believed that Donald Trump will again run for president in 2024, but there are some challengers out there who are wishing he wouldn’t. Some of these challengers may even be on the same side of the MAGA/establishment divide as the former President.
Roger Stone warned former President Donald Trump to watch out for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

In the clip, Trump apparently spots Stone and greets him. After they embrace and Stone says, “God bless you,” Trump says he will speak to Stone in the club. Before they part, Stone delivers his warning.
Stone was his typical, blunt self.
“Watch DeSantis,” he appears to say, adding, “He’s a piece of …” That’s when the clip cuts off, but at least one reporter who shared the clip seemed convinced he said, “s***.”
And then, in a bit of possible foreshadowing…
In a post to his verified Gab account, Stone said, “Great to see the 45th and 47th President last night,” alluding to a possible presidential campaign. Both Trump and DeSantis are widely considered top contenders for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, though neither one has declared a run.
DeSantis has been coy about his potential run for the White House, while Donald Trump has been dropping hints left and right that suggest he’ll be back in the mix.
