Rudy and Robby's Feud Heats Up as Giuliani Suggests Investigation Against Mueller
It’s no secret that Robert Mueller isn’t on Rudy Giuliani’s list of pals. In fact, the former NYC mayor seems to seethe at the mere mention of the Special Counsel.
Of course, Rudy’s reaction makes sense. As the current attorney for the President, Giuliani’s goal is to keep Donald Trump out of Mueller’s clutches. While he has been successful so far, Mueller’s probe is widening in scope in such a manner that it seems nearly impossible to stop him.
Giuliani, not one to shy away from a challenge, is currently waging a war of words against the former FBI chief.
His latest threat to Mueller may be his most daring yet.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani stopped by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night; slamming Robert Mueller’s ongoing Russia-Collusion probe as “an investigation in search of a crime.”
“This would be a massive scandal if it happened to us, if we were producing documents to them. It was erased by Mueller’s record officer who claims he or she looked at them… How can that be?” asked Rudy.
“Strzok and Page were texting everyday about how much they hated Trump… All of a sudden they went to work for Mueller and they stop texting back and forth? There are some highly damaging texts about the way this investigation began. This is an investigation in search of a crime,” he added.
Mueller has so far indicted former Trump associates Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen on charges unrelated to the concept of “Russian collusion” that he is tasked with investigating.
