Rudy Giuliani’s Home Raided And We Think We Know Why (Opinion)

Liberals are still using the DOJ as a political weapon as Rudy Giuliani’s home was raided despite that he had offered to give them what they wanted

Rudy Giuliani

The home of the former president’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani, who was a federal prosecutor and the mayor of NY, was raided by the FBI last Wednesday morning even though he was already answering the DOJ’s questions and offering them the evidence they asked for.

The raid seemed like the latest move by the FBI to go after the Administration of Donald Trump. Giuliani has been under investigation since 2019 by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office as part of the liberal effort to impeach Trump because of a phone call he made to the president of Ukraine. Because Rudy defended Trump against the impeachment hoax, the DA claims that Rudy illegally lobbied the Trump administration on behalf of Ukrainian officials and oligarchs in 2019 ahead of the 2020 election.

Guiliani’s attorney spoke to the Wall Street Journal:

Mr. Costello said authorities arrived at Mr. Giuliani’s apartment at 6 a.m. and seized his electronic devices. Mr. Costello said the search warrant describes the investigation as a probe into a possible violation of foreign lobbying rules. Mr. Costello said the warrant sought communications between Mr. Giuliani and individuals including John Solomon, a columnist who was corresponding with Mr. Giuliani about his effort to push for investigations of Joe Biden in Ukraine. Mr. Solomon didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Spokespeople for the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation declined to comment.

Mr. Costello in an interview called the move “legal thuggery.” He said that in recent years he had offered to answer investigators’ questions as long as they agreed to say what area they were looking at ahead of time. He said they declined the offer. “It’s like I’m talking to a wall,” he said.

Executing a search warrant on a lawyer—particularly a lawyer for a former president—is an unusual step for prosecutors to take.

Costello’s issued a statement that said in part:

“Twice, Mr. Giuliani’s counsel offered to sit with the SDNY and demonstrate that Mr. Giuliani’s conduct was lawful,…It is outrageous that the Trump Derangement Syndrome has gone so far that the hatred has driven this unjustified and unethical attack on the United States Attorney and Mayor who did more to reduce crime than virtually any other in American history.”

He ended with the fact that the FBI did leave some evidence behind

Of course, I’m sure you will not be surprised that the FBI left behind the only electronics that contain evidence of crimes, the Hunter Biden hard drives. Mayor Giuliani offered them on several occasions, but the agents steadfastly declined. Keep in mind that the agents could not read the physical hard drives without plugging them in, but they took Mr. Giuliani’s word that the hard drives were copies of Hunter Biden’s hard drive and did not contain anything pertaining to Mr. Giuliani. Think about what that tells you. Their reliance on Mr. Giuliani’s credibility tells you everything you need to know about this case.

Andy Giuliani. Rudy’s son made a statement after the raid:

Folks, this is another example of liberals using our DOJ to go after Donald Trump. It’s long past time for them to move on. But they hate Donald Trump more than they love America—so it’s up to us to vote them out of office.

Free At Last: CDC Updates Mask Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated

This is HUGE!

Published

The moment that many of us have been waiting for has seemingly arrived, as the CDC has now updated their COVID-19 mask guidelines to reflect the state of affairs here in the United States. After 14 months of worry and wonder, the nation’s top health officials are now suggesting that fully-vaccinated individuals can shed their protective face coverings, should they choose to do so. People fully vaccinated against Covid-19 do not need to wear masks or practice social distancing indoors or outdoors, except under certain circumstances, the director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday. “If you are fully vaccinated, you can start doing the things that you had stopped doing because of the pandemic,” Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a White House Covid-19 briefing. “We have all longed for this moment when we can get back to some sense of normalcy.” Calling it an “exciting and powerful moment,” Walensky said the science supports the updated CDC guidance that “anyone who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities — large or small — without wearing a mask or physical distancing.” The decision followed the science, with the CDC using an amalgamation of studies from both the US and Israel to come to their conclusion. And while the mask mandate will certainly change the way many of us interact at the grocery store or inside of a restaurant, the CDC has not lifted their mandates for travelers, who are often packed into airplanes or busses with recirculating air and no way of knowing who is at-risk and who is not.

Minnesota ‘Sovereign Citizen’ Films Himself Stealing Vaccines from Health Workers

WOW!

America is on a path to a grand economic recovery in 2021, with much of the success of this move hinging on whether or not we can convince enough folks to get vaccinated so that herd immunity is declared. Of course, as with anything in the land of the free, there are plenty of us who just aren’t going to go along with the program.  That’s the beauty of liberty:  You are your own unique individual, and you have the inalienable right to live your life however you wish, just so long as you don’t make a victim of someone else in the process. And so our health professionals are now encumbered with the issue of vaccine hesitancy, as more and more Americans find themselves concerned over the speed at which these vaccines were developed. Some have even taken their concern over these inoculations to the extreme, as evidenced by the latest news out of Minnesota. A 32-year-old St. Paul man has posted multiple Facebook videos of himself stealing Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines by pretending he wants to get vaccinated and walking out with the vials. Thomas E. Humphrey said on the videos he’s a member of the sovereign citizen movement, which is an anti-government extremist group that believes they are sovereign from the U.S. He also said on a video that he lost his business and home last year due to pandemic restrictions, and now lives in a van with his dog. He says on another video he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but disagreed with the diagnosis. Humphrey posted videos of himself walking into an Allina Health vaccination site in Oakdale and leaving with a vial of Pfizer vaccine, calling it poison. The following day, he posted a video of himself taking a vial of Johnson &…
