Russia Calling Up Retired Soldiers as Ukraine Casualties Mount

Things are not going according the Vlad Putin’s Plan in Ukraine, and the Kremlin is now turning desperate.

The invasion, which has been globally lambasted and lasted over a month longer than originally expected, has taken an enormous toll on the Russian Federation’s once-feared fighting force.  With casualties mounting, Putin has now been forced to take drastic action.

DESPERATE Vladimir Putin plans to recruit aging retired soldiers to replenish his forces after almost 20,000 troops were wiped out in Ukraine.

British intelligence claims the tactic will be used in an effort to generate more fighting power in response to mounting losses in the face of heroic Ukrainian defenders.

And wilder still…

The move was outlined by the UK’s Ministry of Defence in its latest intelligence update on Sunday.

It said: “In response to mounting losses, the Russian armed forces seek to bolster troop numbers with personnel discharged from military service since 2012.

“Efforts to generate more fighting power also include trying to recruit from the unrecognized Transnistria region of Moldova.”

Ukraine’s resistance to the Russian invasion has been gritty and inspiring at times, but it has also forced the Kremlin to escalate their use of war crimes, (including rape and the targeting of children), to a degree not seen since World War II and the regime of Nazi Germany.
