Scientists Have Now Discovered Antibody That ‘Neutralizes’ COVID-19 Virus

Published

It looks like we’re finally getting some good news on the coronavirus front as scientists working at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine have discovered “the smallest biological molecule” that “completely and specifically neutralizes” SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

The antibody is actually 10 times smaller than a full-sized antibody and has previously been used to help create a medication know as Ab8. Researchers say that the drug could possibly serve as a preventative treatment against SARS-CoV-2.

Now, the real question to ask here is how long it will take Dr. Anthony Fauci to come out and condemn this research and bring doom and gloom to rain on everyone’s parade. After all, he and fellow Democrats have a lot to lose if this pandemic goes away.

“Ab8 not only has potential as therapy for COVID-19, but it also could be used to keep people from getting SARS-CoV-2 infections,” said co-author John Mellors, chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Pitt and UPMC. “Antibodies of larger size have worked against other infectious diseases and have been well tolerated, giving us hope that it could be an effective treatment for patients with COVID-19 and for protection of those who have never had the infection and are not immune.”

The drug has been tested in mice and hamsters and has been shown to be “highly effective in preventing and treating” the SARS-CoV-2 infection, according to the report. Researchers also say the drug does not bind to human cells, which they say suggests there may not be adverse side effects in people.

Currently, researchers are studying how the medication might be administered. Some are saying it could possibly be used as an aerosol and inhaled or through injection.

Another team of researchers at the University of Texas Medical Branch Center for Biodefense and Emerging Diseases and Galveston National Laboratory tested Ab8 and found that the drug blocked the virus from entering cells. In trials, mice treated with Ab8 had 10-fold less of the amount of infectious virus compared to those untreated.

This news is hot on the heels of the announcement that the world’s largest coronavirus vaccine trials, which were being developed by AstraZeneca, were put on hold.

“Our standard review process was triggered and we voluntarily paused vaccination to allow review of safety data by an independent committee,” AstraZenec said in a previously released statement. “This is a routine action which has to happen whenever there is a potentially unexplained illness in one of the trials, while it is investigated, ensuring we maintain the integrity of the trials.”

“In large trials, illnesses will happen by chance but must be independently reviewed to check this carefully,” the statement continued. “We are working to expedite the review of the single event to minimize any potential impact on the trial timeline. We are committed to the safety of our participants and the highest standards of conduct in our trials.”

Pay attention to to how the mainstream media responds to this news. If they are super critical and absolutely seem to be looking for ways to shoot it down, then you have all the proof you need that the Democratic Party is fully attempting to capitalize on the pandemic to take down Trump.

Biden Said He Received Full Scholarship, Graduated Top of His Law School Class — He Lied

And he plagiarized, too…

As a career politician, Joe Biden knows a thing or two about lying. Even though he has been caught telling falsehoods many, many times over, the mainstream media and his supporters still decide to look the other way. For example, here’s a quote from Joe, speaking to a reporter, while running for president in 1988: “I think I probably have a much higher IQ than you do, I suspect. I went to law school on a full academic scholarship, the only one in my — in my class to have a full academic scholarship. In the first year in law school I decided didn’t want to be in law school and ended up in the bottom two-thirds of my class, and then decided I wanted to stay, went back to law school, and in fact ended up in the top half of my class. I won the international moot-court competition. I was the outstanding student in the political science department at the end of my year. I graduated with three degrees from undergraduate school and 165 credits — I only needed 123 credits. And I’d be delighted to sit down and compare my IQ to yours if you’d like Frank.” The problem is that literally nothing in that statement is true. None of it. From The Daily Wire: It turned out that Biden did not receive a full academic scholarship, but a half scholarship based on financial need. He did not end up in the top half of his class, but near the very bottom. There is no record of him winning the moot court competition. He did not receive the outstanding student award at the University of Delaware. And he graduated with only one degree. For the record, this is Biden’s third run for POTUS (1988, 2008, 2020). After…

I Will Nominate A Woman for Supreme Court Next Week, Trump Says At North Carolina Rally

This third pick needs to be a person that will have conservatives cheering.

Donald Trump’s presidency has already been historic for a number of reasons. He will add to his legacy in the coming days, when he nominates a third person to the Supreme Court in just his first term. Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh have sided with the liberal wing of SCOTUS from time to time, so those two choices weren’t exactly home runs. Still, they definitely lean right. This third pick needs to be a person that will have conservatives cheering. Notably, Barrett was one of the finalists when Trump was considering a replacement for Justice Anthony Kennedy, whose seat was later filled by Justice Brett Kavanaugh. According to USA Today, Judge Barbara Lagoa, 52, a recent addition to the list of potential Supreme Court nominees, is considered a “little-known” front-runner. The news agency reports that Trump briefly mentioned her during remarks to reporters on Saturday, saying that he has “heard at length” about her, and that she is “highly respected.” Let’s hear your thoughts in the comment section…
