Secret Service Will Provide Visitor Logs After All

In this week’s installment of “Things That Make You Scratch Your Head”, it turns out that the Secret Service did have an idea of who has been hanging around in one of the locations where President Joe Biden was holding onto classified materials improperly.

Just days ago, it was revealed that the President’s Delaware home, and specifically the garage, played host to boxed of classified documents that should not have been there.  When word of the damning news got around, lawmakers and Washington officials began demanding to know who might have visited the property, for obvious national security reasons.

The Secret Service first told the nation, unbelievably, that no such record of visitors existed.

They’ve suddenly changed their tune.

The U.S. Secret Service is prepared to offer names of individuals who visited President Biden’s Wilmington, Delaware, home if requested by Congress, Fox News has learned.

The White House continues to insist that there exists no formal visitor log for the personal residence where two troves of classified documents were found.

The agency released an official statement on the matter.

“The Secret Service does not maintain visitor logs at the private residences of protectees,” said U.S. Secret Service chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi. “While the Secret Service does generate law enforcement and criminal justice information records for various individuals who may come into contact with Secret Service protected sites, we are not able to comment further as this speaks to the means and methods of our protective operations.”

A source familiar with the situation told Fox News that the Secret Service is prepared to provide available background information on vetted guests to Biden’s residence if requested by Congress.

Given the vast bipartisan support for a thorough investigation of the subject, there is little doubt that just such a congressional request is on the way.
