And BOOM goes the dynamite!

Democrats love them some “sanctuary cities” for people who aren’t supposed to be in the country.

Now, some proud American sheriffs are set to make their counties sanctuaries for gun owners in order to preserve their citizens’ Second Amendment rights.

Here are the details…

A rapidly growing number of counties in at least four states are declaring themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, refusing to enforce gun-control laws that they consider to be infringements on the U.S. constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

Organizers of the pro-gun sanctuaries admit they took the idea from liberals who have created immigration sanctuaries across the United States where local officials defy the Trump administration’s efforts to enforce tougher immigration laws.

Now local conservatives are rebelling against majority Democratic rule in the states. Elected sheriffs and county commissioners say they might allow some people deemed to be threats under “red flag” laws to keep their firearms. In states where the legal age for gun ownership is raised to 21, authorities in some jurisdictions could refuse to confiscate guns from 18- to 20-year-olds.

Before departing office, then-California Governor Jerry Brown made sure to defend his “sanctuary state” policies while disparaging the memory of deceased Police Officer Ronil Singh.

Outgoing Democrat California Gov. Jerry Brown decided to defend the state’s sanctuary laws in one of his final acts as governor, saying that Cpl. Ronil Singh’s death had “nothing to do” with them.

Brown told KXTV in one of his final interviews as California’s governor that he did not think California’s current “sanctuary state” law shielding illegal aliens from federal immigration authorities, SB 54, would lead to an increase in illegal alien crime.

Brown: “In this case, the individual had been arrested and actually convicted twice of driving under the influence and there was a warrant out for his arrest and no one picked him up, and he was arrested and brought in to jail and brought into jail before the sanctuary law was even enacted. ICE, the immigration people, could have gone out and gotten him. The police or the sheriff could have told the immigration service.

Right after news broke that Singh was murdered by a “soon-to-be-American-if-Dems-have-their-way,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi went on vacation.

While President Trump remained at the White House for Christmas, Pelosi was in Hawaii.

According to Pelosi, Trump doesn’t even know that Hawaii is part of the United States.

She actually said that.

On camera.

She has to be almost completely gone mentally to even think that one up, as evidenced by her daily brain freezes.

I observed the Christmas holiday for a few days in Hawaii. I cut in half the time I would have had with my family.

And the president may not know this, but Hawaii is part of the United States of America. Maybe he doesn’t realize that. I don’t know where the president observed the religious holiday of Christmas.

WATCH:

Ronil Singh was killed by Gustavo Perez Arriaga.

He remained on the loose for longer than expected but was eventually apprehended.

As mentioned above, Pelosi was vacationing in Hawaii while as Officer Singh’s brother cried his heart out at a press conference.

How messed up is that?

The NYPD sent this tweet honoring Officer Singh:

What is it with the Golden State?

Amazon Rolls Out Creepy ‘Pay By Palm’ Hardware at Whole Foods

Is this one of the harbingers of a cashless society?

Throughout much of modern history, Americans and their cash were two separate things.  One was a human being, breathing and walking about, earning money.  The money was an inanimate commodity of varying value that we used to keep the organism alive, fat, and happy. But in the future, it seems as though we may find ourselves intrinsically, and anatomically indistinguishable from our bank account.  In fact, it appears as though Amazon is banking on it. Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) said it is rolling out biometric technology at its Whole Foods stores around Seattle starting on Wednesday, letting shoppers pay for items with a scan of their palm. The move shows how Amazon is bringing some of the technology already in use at its namesake brick-and-mortar Go and Books stores to the grocery chain it acquired in 2017. The system, called Amazon One, lets customers associate a credit card with their palm print. It offers a contact-less alternative to cash and card payments, Amazon said. Of course, the move is being regarded as a terrifying leap into Orwellian territory by privacy experts, as it appears to push us ever closer to a cashless society where hackers and power failures could doom us all to poverty in the blink of an eye.

Fraternal Order of Police Responds to LeBron James’ Tweet Fiasco

And they were NOT happy.

The politicization of American sports has been ongoing for some time, perhaps decades, but the most recent acceleration of this melding has come thanks to the power of social media and the blurring of the line between celebrity and athlete. At the forefront of this movement has been the NBA, and, more specifically, superstar LeBron James. This week, James came under fire for a tweet in which he referenced the Derek Chauvin trial’s guilty verdicts, with a photo of another officer who was involved in the shooting of a young black girl and text stating “you’re next”. The tweet was seen as a threat by many, including the Fraternal Order of Police who responded harshly. On Wednesday, James tweeted a photo of the officer involved in the shooting with a caption reading “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” The tweet has since been deleted. James was reacting to the deadly police shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant. Hours later, the National Fraternal Order of Police tweeted a photo of James’ original tweet, saying: “[email protected], with his vast resources & influence, should educate himself and, frankly, has a responsibility to do so, on the facts before weighing in. This is disgraceful & extremely reckless. The officer saved a young girl’s life. No amount of gaslighting will change that fact.” James attempted to walk back the tweet after deleting it, by issuing an explanation that garnered only a lukewarm response online.
