Sources Say Mueller-Time is Nearing an End!

And it isn’t for the reason you would expect!

With Jeff Sessions resigning as Attorney General yesterday, a great many questions have been raised about the future of Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian “collusion” with the Trump campaign.

The President’s decision to force Sessions to resign came with a caveat that the liberal left was unhappy with:  The appointment of Matt Whitaker as acting AG.

Whitaker has been a vocal opponent of the Mueller investigation for some time, and has even appeared on CNN last year to outline how he would hypothetically starve the probe financially in order to bring it to a halt.

Now, in a second piece of monumental news for the Mueller team, sources close to CNN are reporting that the Special Counsel has already begun writing his final report.

Special counsel Robert Mueller‘s team has started writing its final report after a months-long investigation into possible ties between President Trump‘s presidential campaign and Russia, multiple sources told CNN on Thursday.

Trump began reviewing his answers to Mueller’s questions as he prepared to request Attorney General Jeff Sessions‘s resignation, CNN reported.

A source familiar with the matter told CNN that they believe the Trump legal team will continue to approach Mueller’s questions the same way, despite the shakeup in leadership at the Justice Department.

Based on the recent mood of the President, and the coming legislative session to begin just after the holidays, there will no doubt be major movement in the case in the coming days.  Now, with Mueller allegedly nearing completion, this timeline could shrink even further.
