She said WHAT!?

We all know that failed Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has said some pretty goofy things over the years. And yet, what she said on Thursday might just take the cake.

That’s saying a lot.

A Biden/Abrams administration would be terrible for America, but it sure we be pretty hilarious to see play out.

From Politico:

Stacey Abrams, a former Georgia lawmaker and unsuccessful candidate for governor, has been privately calling Democratic power brokers, asking them to tell Biden campaign officials that she should be vice president, according to multiple labor leaders familiar with the discussions.

Elizabeth Warren is cranking up her small-dollar machine. The Biden campaign has noticed that in media appearances, Warren, the progressive senator from Massachusetts, consistently plugged JoeBiden.com and urged people to donate — an appeal that a Biden adviser said did not come from the campaign.

Other prospects are following different routes. Kamala Harris is exhibiting her party-building credentials, scheduling virtual events with Senate candidates in Maine, Montana and South Carolina and setting up a joint fundraising operation with the Democratic National Committee. And the California senator is engaging in the kind of outreach that could be valuable to a white, male, 77-year-old nominee — writing an op-ed in Refinery 29, whose target audience is young, progressive women, and doing press reaching young black and Asian American people.

On Sunday, a stunning clip featuring Abrams from 2014 was uncovered.

Jobless Claims Fall Below A Million, Breaking 20-Week Streak

Published

on

We have more excellent news on the economic front as the number of new applications received for unemployment benefits has dropped to 963,000, according to reports published by the Labor Department. This breaks the streak of 20 consecutive weeks that saw those figures above a million. Economists had projected this week’s numbers would be somewhere around 1.1 million. This is fantastic. Our nation is finally starting to recover a bit from the coronavirus, though you’d never guess that was the case by the way the mainstream media is covering the story. Here’s more information from The Washington Examiner: The total number of people claiming jobless benefits in all programs for the week ending July 25 was 28.3 million, a decrease of over 3 million from the previous week. For comparison, there were 1.7 million people claiming benefits for all programs in the same week in 2019. While jobless claims remain at historic highs, Mark Hamrick, a senior economic analyst at Bankrate.com, noted that they have fallen in places particularly affected by the coronavirus. Florida saw a drop of over 23,000 in initial claims between the week ending Aug. 8 and the week prior. Georgia and Texas saw decreases of over 11,000 each over the same time period. Back in March, toward the end of the month, jobless numbers hit a staggering 6.9 million. Those numbers began to drop in May with the reopening of the economy in many states around the country, but hadn’t dropped below a million until now. The recovery has been a bit slow paced, but that’s to be expected. Most places around the nation have been very cautious about reopening after the shutdowns earlier this year. It only makes sense that as things happen in phases, slowly over time, so too would the economic recovery. Here’s…

#SayHisName Trends On Social Media After Lack Of Media Coverage On Murder Of 5-Year-Old Cannon Hinnant

Published

on

As of this writing, the vast majority of mainstream media news outlets have yet to run any kind of coverage on the brutal Sunday evening murder of a five-year-old North Carolina boy named Cannon Hinnant. Hinnant was killed by 25-year-old Darius Sessoms, which has led to hashtag #SayHisName to trend on social media Thursday morning. Sessoms is a black man and lived next door to the victim’s father. Sessoms walked up to the boy, who is white, and shot him in the head at point-blank range, right in front of his two sisters, one seven, the other eight. It’s sick and disgusting to see the mainstream media ignore this story, simply because the shooter is black and it doesn’t fit the racially charged narrative they are pushing at the moment. Murder is murder. Evil is evil. It doesn’t matter what size, shape, or color it comes in. Here are more details from The Daily Wire: CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC, as of Thursday morning, have yet to cover the attack. Fox News has covered the tragic news. Some have argued that the lack of coverage is because of the races of the victim and the alleged murderer. On Tuesday, author and Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh brought attention to the murder via Twitter, using the now-viral phrase, “say his name.” “Say his name. 5 year old Cannon Hinnant was executed in cold blood while riding his bike,” posted Walsh. “The accused killer is Darius Sessoms. He allegedly walked up to the boy and shot him dead in front of his sisters.” “Reverse the races and this is the only thing anyone talks about for a month,” Walsh said. https://twitter.com/MattWalshBlog/status/1293208169339133953 People have grown frustrated about the lack of coverage, which is why the hashtag has taken off like it…
