Starbucks Employees Say ‘Bias Training’ Had Secret Agenda And It’s Very Disappointing

Remember last week when Starbucks — the country’s leading corporate chain of coffee shops that liberals, who ironically hate corporations, frequent — decided they could rid the company of racism by closing up shop for a few hours and holding a “bias training” seminar?

Well, a few employees who attended the event have come out and revealed that much of the training contained anti-police material, attempting to paint cops up as evil, vile racists who are looking for a reason to get violent with minorities.

This really isn’t that surprising, though, is it?

Philadelphia, PA – Employees of color who attended the highly-publicized “unconscious bias training” for Starbucks employees on Tuesday have reported it was more of a lesson on police brutality than anything else.

“It felt like we were off task the entire time because we didn’t reflect on the situation itself,” a black 18-year-old Starbucks employee called “Tina” told Philadelphia Magazine.

“The training materials focused a lot on police brutality, which had nothing to do with the incident that happened,” Tina said.

She was referring to the incident that occurred at a Philadelphia Starbucks on April 12 when two black men were arrested for trespassing after employees called the police because they hadn’t purchased anything and refused to leave.

On that occasion, despite the controversy that surrounded their ejection from the coffee shop, no force was used to remove the men, and there have been zero allegations of police brutality.

The Philadelphia police commissioner instituted a new policy that required Starbucks employees to address customers by informing them of company policy and actually commit to pressing charges before they would arrest someone in the store.

So, after a few employees mess up, cops are the ones who have to somehow shoulder the blame and be subjected to harassment all because of some ridiculous training seminar that reinforces the liberal narrative that police are racist?

The whole topic of race relations in America is getting completely and totally out of hand.

Cops have been killed over race issues the last few years, because the liberal media is stoking the flames of anti-cop rhetoric as often as possible, because doing so heightens ratings.

This is truly a sad state of affairs.
