Study Shows Florida Taxpayers Will Cough Up Billions If Gillum Elected Governor

Might want to choose DeSantis

Democrat Florida Governor candidate Andrew Gillum wants to pay teachers a minimum salary of $50,000 and raise the minimum wage from $8.25 to $15.

He also intends to make college, essentially, free.

A new study shows taxes in Florida would spike to the tune of billions of dollars if Gillum’s policies are implemented – as one could expect.

Progressive Democrat Andrew Gillum’s tax plan proposals “would adversely impact the business climate of the state” if he is elected governor, costing Florida 155,000 jobs and $28.2 billion in economic loses per year, according to the James Madison Institute (JMI), a Tallahassee-based conservative think-tank.

Conversely, JMI maintains, conservative Republican gubernatorial candidate Ron DeSantis’ tax plan proposals, which include eliminating the state’s Business Rental Tax, would “lead to the creation of 215,000 jobs annually and $26.6 billion in annual economic output.”

[…]

“Our analysis is it would require $2.6 billion” to accomplish the things Gillum wants to do, he said. “The $1 billion wouldn’t even cover” paying teachers a base $50,000 salary.

Gillum recently stated that police officers are going “too far” if they pull out a gun, baton, or taser in the line of duty.

“At the time that a law enforcement official has to go to a weapon, to a gun, to a baton, to a taser, then they have already have to go too far by their very presence,” he continued. “By the very trust that they inspire in community and in society, they are supposed to be able to bring most situations to heel.”

Gillum’s brother is under investigation for potential voter fraud.

Less than a year before gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum publicly denounced President Donald Trump’s efforts to investigate the threat of voter fraud, Gillum’s brother, Marcus Gillum, voted in the 2016 general election in Tallahassee, Florida while a resident of Chicago, Illinois.

Gillum has been linked to a group that teaches kids to glorify a terror group, which has been designated by the State Dept. as a foreign terrorist organization.

From Breitbart:

Dream Defenders, a radical organization closely associated with Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum, compiled an education tool for U.S. teachers that glorifies the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a deadly terrorist organization.

None of these reports look good for Gillum, but how will Floridians respond in November?

Palestinian Terrorists Blow Up Israeli Teen, & Rashida Tlaib Has the Nerve to Blame ISRAEL

She’s just unreal.

Can the Democrats of Michigan truly feel good about themselves knowing they put an openly anti-Semitic woman in Congress? Maddening. Check out Muslim Democrat Rashida Tlaib’s tweet on Israel upon learning Palestinian terrorists literally blew up an Israeli teenager… From Red State: You may have heard the recent news of a 17 year old Israeli girl being killed by a bomb that was planted by Palestinian terrorists. Her father and brother were also seriously wounded in the attack. This all occurred while they simply out enjoying a family swim. Worse, the bomb had apparently been planted months ago and the terrorists were waiting on the “right” victim to denote it on. That turned out to be a teenage girl because these are the kinds of monsters the Israelis have to deal with on a daily basis. Enter Tlaib: This is absolutely tragic & horrible. My heart goes out to Rina’s family. More than ever we need to support nonviolent approaches to ending the Israeli occupation and guaranteeing equal rights for all. Extremism that puts innocent lives at risk moves us no closer to peace. https://twitter.com/RashidaTlaib/status/1165067456676847616?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1165067456676847616&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.redstate.com%2Fbonchie%2F2019%2F08%2F24%2Fpalestinian-terrorists-kill-israeli-child-rep.-rashida-tlaib-blames-jews The first thing to note is that she’s retweeting a rabidly anti-Semitic organization that continually blames Israel for all the world’s ills while never standing against Palestinian terrorism. That would be bad enough, but Tlaib goes further. She gives her own awful commentary blaming the “occupation” and the idea that if only Israel gave into the Palestinians, they’d all live in peace and harmony. You see, it’s not the fault of the Palestinian terrorists who killed this girl. It’s Israel’s fault for somehow provoking them by not letting their country be overrun with an Islamism that wants to destroy it. Reactions: This is vile! Have you no shame? How dare you blame the murder of…

AOC Comes Unglued, Says the Electoral College Is ‘Affirmative Action’ for Rural Americans

Come on, man!

Democrats hate the Electoral College because they don’t understand what it’s about. Preventing tyranny of the majority is crucial. New Yorkers and Californians and people from a few other large states shouldn’t get all the say, leaving residents of smaller states feeling as though their voice literally does not matter. Had Hillary Clinton acquired the necessary electorals to win in 2016, Dems would be fighting to see the system remain in place. And yet, here we are. Enter embattled rookie lawmaker, Alexandria O’Commie-Cortez… Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) continued her verbal assault on the Electoral College, this time smearing the Constitutional system that guarantees big states don’t have undue influence in electing the president as an “electoral affirmative action” scheme for rural Americans. I see Fox News is big mad about abolishing the electoral college. So let’s talk about it. 1) If the GOP were the “silent majority” they claim, they wouldn’t be so scared of a popular vote. They *know* they aren’t the majority. They rely on establishing minority rule for power. https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1164987742842830848?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1164987742842830848&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fpolitics%2F2019%2F08%2F24%2Focasio-cortez-electoral-college-is-affirmative-action-for-rural-americans%2F 2) This common claim about “if we don’t have the Electoral College then a handful of states will determine the presidency” is BS. a. It’s the *EC itself* that breaks down power by state, pop vote decentralizes it b. The EC makes it so a handful of states DO determine elections https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1164988657209507845 3) LASTLY, this concept that the Electoral College is provides “fairness” to rural Americans over coastal states doesn’t hold any water whatsoever. First of all, virtually every state has rural communities. NY. California. Much of our states are rural. But very importantly… https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1164989849226506240 4) We do not give electoral affirmative action to any other group in America. Do Black Americans have their votes count more bc they have been disenfranchised for 100s of years? Do…
