SWAMPY: Hunter Biden Hires Clinton Lawyers to Fight GOP Probe
Thanks to the false dichotomy of American politics, which is itself a product of the mainstream media’s influence at distilling the national sentiment into easily-advertised-to voting blocs, we now have two parties who will excuse the behavior of their own while vilifying identical trouble on the other side of the aisle.
This sort of blanket “teamwork” has diluted the concentration of integrity on Capitol Hill, as independent thought is replaced by the party-line hivemind.
For instance, as the saga of First Son Hunter Biden continues to find itself under the microscope of a GOP probe, the prime nepotist of the scandal has hired some high-powered lawyers from within the upper cabal of the Democratic Party.
Hunter Biden hired former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment attorney Abbe Lowell this week to combat the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into the Biden family business.
Abbe Lowell, who engages with clients engulfed in political scandals, is one of the establishment’s top attorneys. He has represented many high-profile clients, including Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ), former Sen. John Edwards, lobbyist Jack Abramoff, Bill Clinton, and Jared Kushner. Lowell is a Brox native and a 1977 Columbia Law School graduate. In 1982, he ran for the Maryland House of Delegates on the Democrat ticket.
Hunter’s poor behavior has required a bevy of lawyers and focuses.
Lowell will now join Hunter’s legal defense with Kevin Morris, the lead attorney, Chris Clark, and Joshua A. Levy. Lowell will defend Hunter from the congressional probe, while Clark and Levy’s work has focused on preventing Hunter from being charged by the DOJ for tax and gun violations.
Critics of the Biden family have also posited that Hunter may not be in the financial position to have hired these firms on his own, once again opening the door to speculation about nepotism or foreign influence.
