Take a Look at What Starbucks' Health Insurance Plan Will Now be Covering
Starbucks, the world’s most popular coffee shop chain, has decided to expand its health care benefits to now include what they are calling “life-saving” procedures for transgender employees who work at their shops.
Apparently, getting surgery on your genitals to indulge your mental illness is now considered “life-saving.” However, the facts are, most transgender individuals, including those who make the full transition, are still at a huge risk for committing suicide. Yet, that doesn’t stop the insanity of the left in the slightest.
The coffee giant said it would now offer health plans that cover the cost of reassignment procedures that had been considered cosmetic, and not covered by insurance, including breast augmentation or reduction, hair transplants, electrolysis, and facial feminization.
Advertisement - story continues below“The approach was driven not just by the company’s desire to provide truly inclusive coverage, and by powerful conversations with transgender partners about how those benefits would allow them to truly be who they are,” Ron Crawford, vice president of benefits at Starbucks, said in a news release Monday.
Starbucks health insurance plans have covered transgender reassignment surgery since 2012.
According to the authors of the report, the increased risk for suicide attempts could be caused by “distress related to barriers to obtaining transition-related health care, such as a lack of insurance coverage, inability to afford those procedures or lack of access to providers.”
The survey found that 41 percent of 6,500 transgender adults who responded to the National Transgender Discrimination Survey had attempted suicide at some point.
Or the whole problem could be that they are super confused and have something wrong with their spiritual identity and need therapy and the gospel of Christ to repair the damage?
The bottom line is, God doesn’t make mistakes. If you were born a boy, you’re supposed to be a boy. If you were born a girl, you’re supposed to be a girl. This isn’t rocket science. God has designed the beautiful differences between male and female so that we as human beings can rule over the planet and take dominion over it. This can’t be accomplished any other way.
Our society is doing much harm and damage to transgender folks by encouraging them to indulge this illness. We don’t encourage people to openly practice their depression. We try to heal it. Why is this any different?
