Taliban Now Taking Americans ‘Hostage’ at Airport

The fallout from the Biden administration’s decision continues to turn more dangerous by the minute.

Published

US President Joe Biden’s plan to speed up the US troop withdrawal from Afghanistan weeks ago has had heavy reverberations throughout the middle eastern nation, and there is plenty of trouble still to come.

The most obvious issue to be dealt with at this time is the fact that the Taliban, and ultra-violent Islamic terror group, is now in charge of the newly-renamed “Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan”, and they are bringing all sorts of gruesome behavior to the nation.

The latest trouble comes from one of Afghanistan’s airport, where Americans who are attempting to flee have been taken “hostage” by the terror group.

Six airplanes are stuck at the Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport in northern Afghanistan with Americans on board, unable to take off because they had not received clearance from the Taliban, Rep. Michael McCaul said on Sunday.

McCaul, a Republican from Texas, made the comments during an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” and said Afghan interpreters were also on the planes.

“In fact we have six airplanes at Mazar-i-Sharif airport, six airplanes, with American citizens on them as I speak, also with these interpreters, and the Taliban is holding them hostage for demands right now,” McCaul, the top Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Fox News’ Chris Wallace.

“State has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport,” he added.

The Biden administration’s tepid response was offensive in its nonchalance.

“We understand the concern that many people are feeling as they try to facilitate further charter and other passage out of Afghanistan. However, we do not have personnel on the ground, we do not have air assets in the country, we do not control the airspace – whether over Afghanistan or elsewhere in the region,” a spokesperson for the US State Department told Insider.

The spokesperson said the department did not have “reliable means to confirm the basic details of charter flights,” including who was chartering them, how many US citizens or other “priority groups” were on board, and when or where these flights were going to land.

“We will hold the Taliban to its pledge to let people freely depart Afghanistan,” the spokesperson added. “As with all Taliban commitments, we are focused on deeds not words, but we remind the Taliban that the entire international community is focused on whether they live up to their commitments.”

There have been growing calls for President Joe Biden to be impeached over this Afghanistan disaster, and there is little doubt that any single drop of American blood shed on Afghan soil would turbocharge that chatter.

FBI Informants Stormed Capitol on Jan. 6th, Muddying MSM Narrative

The infotainment industry is going to have a hard time spinning this one.

For months on end, those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th claimed that there were interlopers among them, possibly even working to incite the violence and bring trouble to their ranks.

Of course, the mainstream media wasn’t having it.  They had the MAGA Movement right where they wanted them, and there was no scenario in which they were going to let this precious attack on the far-right go to waste.  No, they had decided that this was purely an incident of their own doing, and that they should be punished and ostracized ad nauseam on account of it.

But new reports seem to indicate that yes, indeed, there were some double agents among the throngs of Americans who stormed the building, and it’s putting the infotainment industry in a real bind.

As scores of Proud Boys made their way, chanting and shouting, toward the Capitol on Jan. 6, one member of the far-right group was busy texting a real-time account of the march.

The recipient was his F.B.I. handler.

In the middle of an unfolding melee that shook a pillar of American democracy — the peaceful transfer of power — the bureau had an informant in the crowd, providing an inside glimpse of the action, according to confidential records obtained by The New York Times. In the informant’s version of events, the Proud Boys, famous for their street fights, were largely following a pro-Trump mob consumed by a herd mentality rather than carrying out any type of preplanned attack.

And that’s not all:

After meeting his fellow Proud Boys at the Washington Monument that morning, the informant described his path to the Capitol grounds where he saw barriers knocked down and Trump supporters streaming into the building, the records show. At one point, his handler appeared not to grasp that the building had been breached, the records show, and asked the informant to keep him in the loop — especially if there was any violence.

The FBI has long been considered one of the shadier branches of federal law enforcement, often resorting to these sorts of tactics and infiltrations in order to achieve their mission.

Vaccine Mandate Cold Cause Healthcare Worker Shortage in Major City

This is WILD!

Published

With the number of Americans concerned about the potential side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine remaining steady, establishments that are now dealing in vaccine mandates are in for a rude awakening.

For months now, the vaccination rate has remained steady here in the United States, despite full FDA approval for some of the inoculations, and a steady stream of pressure from the Biden administration.  The issue is that, of all the folks who want to receive a vaccine, nearly all have.  Those remaining unvaccinated are doing so by choice.

And that’s why a coming vaccine mandate could wreak havoc on the New York City healthcare worker population.

New York state officials are bracing for staffing shortages when the state’s health care worker vaccination mandate takes effect on Monday, and could be looking to the National Guard — as well as medical professionals from other states and countries — to help address them.

Gov. Kathy Hochul released a plan on Saturday, outlining the steps she could take to increase the workforce in the event that large numbers of hospital and nursing home employees do not meet the state’s deadline.

“We are still in a battle against COVID to protect our loved ones, and we need to fight with every tool at our disposal,” she said.

That could mean declaring a state of emergency to allow health care professionals licensed outside of New York, as well as recent graduates and retirees, to practice there. Other options include deploying medically trained National Guard members, partnering with the federal government to send Disaster Medical Assistance Teams to local health and medical systems and “exploring ways to expedite visa requests for medical professionals.”

And, to make matters worse, those who find themselves terminated for their choice to remain unvaccinated will not be eligible for unemployment benefits, further infuriating those who believe that waive their cache to receive an inoculation are being discriminated against.
