The Enormity of the Universe Points to God’s Existence — Opinion

How could it be any other way?

The vastness of the known universe, added to whatever else is in the universe currently unknown, all but precludes that the existence of the cosmos is a result of some spontaneous, chemical, physical reaction without a driving force behind it. Some entity, spirit, first driver, or, most likely, deity, had to have been behind it.

A single infinitesimally small atom, sufficiently dense to contain matter equal to between 200 billion and two trillion galaxies, exploding via the phenomenon we call the Big Bang, was put in motion, somehow, someway, by a force as powerful, if not more powerful, than the energy in the universe itself.

Galaxies, it is now known, appear in irregular shapes and sizes and, among them, many dwarf galaxies exist. Dwarf galaxies, the smallest in the universe, contain only a few hundred or a few thousand stars. Dwarf galaxies routinely lose their stars to their much larger neighbors via gravity. As stars stream across the sky, dwarf galaxies frequently are ripped apart.

Our own galaxy, the Milky Way, rotates at about 560,000 miles per hour and completes one full revolution every 200 million years or so. One Milky Way revolution ago, dinosaurs ruled planet Earth. The emergence of Homo erectus was 196,000,000 years in the future.

The Milky Way has nearly 300 billion stars, however, this is atypical. Most galaxies have fewer stars, perhaps around 100 billion. If galaxies were reduced in size to that of apples, neighboring galaxies would be a handful of meters apart. The relative proximity of galaxies means that galaxies occasionally emerge. Around four billion years from today, the Milky Way will merge with the Andromeda galaxy.

The merging process itself will require at least 100 million years. During this transition, all life on earth will be irrevocably altered and most likely obliterated, as will virtually all life everywhere else within both galaxies. Stars and their orbiting planets, known as solar systems, will be subjected to enormous changes in rotation, revolution, gravity, orbit, and motion down to the molecular level. Nothing alive will remain unscathed.

The Vastness of it All

In the observable universe, each star has at least one planet orbiting around it. Most stars have more than one planet, as does our Sun. Thus, the observable universe likely contains 20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 or more stars. (To break this number down, it equals 200 trillion, times 100 trillion).

Since each star has at least one planet rotating around it, if even one in 100 trillion stars has an orbiting planet which contains life, that would add up to 200 trillion planets in the known universe which contain life.

If only one in one thousand of these 200 trillion planets contain intelligent life, perhaps even hominoid-shaped life, that would mean 200 billion planets contain intelligent life. Not only are we not alone in the universe, the odds of extraterrestrial intelligent life are overwhelming. The distances likely are too vast for us to encounter such life, although UFO enthusiasts like to keep up the dialogue. How were these planets seeded? From where did the live cells spring? Can 200 billion planets containing intelligent life be anything but the handiwork of God?

The Creator of Everything

The notion that a supreme or divine being actually appeared on Earth tens of thousands of years ago, or 2000 years ago, or last week, and has some direct, familial connection to God, makes one pause when you consider that there are a minimum of 200 billion other planets that contain intelligent life.

The unfathomable size of the universe in and of itself supports the notion that a divine being set it all in motion. There simply can’t be so much randomness in our lives, and in existence itself, to conclude that it all unfolded in some haphazard fashion.

God had to have been at the starting point. From the smallest particles in the universe, to the universe itself, to the multiverse, if it exists, God’s hand touches all. How could it be any other way?

Trump Set to Declassify Obamagate Docs, Will Show Obama Spying on Trump Campaign

Had to be done.

Donald Trump accomplished more in one term than anybody thought possible. He managed to make even many “never Trump” Republicans see the light, with the way he went about business in the Oval Office. Unfortunately, Trump will not be able to serve a consecutive term and continue to expose government malfeasance. That being said, there’s still a whole lot POTUS can give us before leaving 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. on the 20th. Joe is quite the card, even after all these decades. WATCH: Joe Biden: “I know President Trump likes to take credit for the economy… Just look at the facts, not the alternative facts. President Trump inherited an economy from Obama-Biden administration that was given to him — just like he inherited everything else in his life.” https://twitter.com/thehill/status/1130179564351741952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw

School Featured In ‘Remember the Titans’ Might Be Renamed ‘Kamala Harris High’

Great movie, terrible idea.

Giving Kamala Harris the title of vice president is pretty awful. Senator was bad enough. But now she’s going to be honored with her name on a school? What’s next? Forget Harriet Tubman and put the woman who slept her way into politics on the $20? From TDW: T.C. Williams High School, well known for its prominent role in the popular Disney film “Remember The Titans”, could soon be renamed as “Kamala Harris High School.” In November, the Alexandria City School Board voted unanimously to remove Williams’ name due to his support of segregation while serving as superintendent of the Alexandria, VA, school system. According to the school, Williams was a “staunch segregationist whose views could not have been more inconsistent with the vibrant, diverse and inclusive place we know today.” Students are being given the chance to vote. The final decision will be made in April. Other options the kids have to choose from are “George Floyd High School” and “Ruth Bader Ginsburg High School.” If it came down to Kamala, George, or Ruth, you’d have to go with RBG High…right?? Here’s a clip from the film… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYp94Kk8AdE
