The View Host Implores Trump to Resign...TODAY!

As with all facets of American society, even the most mundane of daytime television shows has become a politically-charged cacophony of cackling.

I’m speaking about The View – a panel discussion program featuring a who’s who of female celebrities and hosts who have taken to political rhetoric like fish to water as of late.

Of course, this is likely due to the ongoing insinuations that President Donald Trump is a supreme sexist and chauvinist, even though he has elevated a number of women in his administration to levels never before held by an American of the female gender.

As with most of the mainstream media, The View tends to lean hard left, with the exception of host Megan McCain – daughter of late republican Senate legend John McCain.

Today was no different, with a fellow host of McCain’s going so far as to suggest that the President should resign today.

ABC News’ “The View” co-host Joy Behar declared on Thursday that it would be “a good day for Donald Trump to resign.”

The panel discussed the latest development in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, such as Michael Cohen admitting to lying to Congress and President Trump declaring that a pardon for Paul Manafort is not off the table.

Behar chimed in, saying it’s like a reality show that “we’re all trapped in the middle of,” before co-host Sunny Hostin accused the president of lying to the American people about potentially building a Trump Tower in Russia.

Behar was emphatic:

“Today is a good day for Donald Trump to resign. I really believe that,” Behar said. “Donald, do it for me.”

If I were Joy, I wouldn’t be holding my breath.
