This period of American history is quickly turning into a redux of the McCarthy era…if the McCarthy era had happened in an episode of the Twilight Zone.
It’s not just Antifa breaking skulls in the street that makes the modern American left resemble Hitler’s brownshirts (although clearly the irony of calling everything they dislike “literally Hitler” is lost on them).
They are turning into a political gang, singling out and harassing anyone who they can somehow triangulate on the intersectional spectrum.
This week, it’s Boston Celtics Hall-of-Famer Kevin McHale, who was found out, in a very creepy way one might note, as he attended a Trump rally with his wife.
And Just how did the Liberal Police catch wind of McHale’s personal politics? You won’t even believe it.
By zooming in on a picture on Twitter.
The Daily Wire has the story:
McHale, who grew up in Hibbing, Minnesota, was the general manager and later coach of the Minnestoa Timberwolves, and is currently an on-air analyst for NBA TV, apparently attended the rally with his wife. That drove the anti-Trump crowd to condemn him in no uncertain terms. Here is a tweet with the initial picture from which McHale’s picture was apparently drawn:

In come the Twitter flying monkeys, dispatched to shame this guy all week. Because that’s how you win hearts and minds over to your side, right?
As Clay Travis of Outkick the Coverage noted, “The left wingers then tracked down Kevin McHale’s wife’s Twitter, decided some of her political opinions were unacceptable, and so deluged her with hate that she shut down her account.”
Here’s a sampling of what he and his wife were subject to, all for simply attending a political rally. For the current President of the United States.
Hall of Fame Celtic Kevin McHale and his wife attended a TRUMP rally?
You're an analyst in a sport that is 75% black.
You literally make money off the hard work of black athletes.
Is this real? If so, he's gonna have a rough week. pic.twitter.com/pY6zCfI7gj

Kevin McHale is extremely stupid for attending a public Trump event. That, as much as his politics, is why he should never work in the NBA again

By the way, this rally was also last night, so this has all happened in less than 24 hours.
This is the world that we live in, and these are the patients running the asylum. Twitter is being used as a tool to hold unofficial political trials in the court of public opinion, regardless of who is president. The loudest, most dramatic influencers are able to target and intimidate people who are barely public citizens, for their personal politics, even when they themselves choose not to post them.
