Today's News Insanity Comes to us From CNN [Video]
There have been a number of strange and out-of-context arguments being made regarding the brave men and women of Immigration Customs and Enforcement over the course of the last few months, but CNN may have just taken the cake.
Somehow, it seems as though the democrats are willing to eschew the rule of law, thanks in part to “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, in order to disparage the sitting President and to further divide this nation of ours into easily quaffable voting segments. Because, make no mistake about it, the anger and vitriol that we see in politics today is all done with a singular purpose: To divide and galvanize the youth so that the progressive politicians can easily appeal to them in November.
In this dire debacle, the latest scapegoat for the immigration “problem” have been the fine people working for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, who have been forced to endure any number of liberal protests…some of which have been broken up by local SWAT Teams.
Today’s insanity comes to us from CNN, who promoted a guest this week who claimed that ICE, the law enforcement agency, is somehow akin to the slave trade of yesteryear.
CNN political commentator Angela Rye on Thursday compared those who separate families at America’s southern border to slave traders.
Rye and former Trump campaign chief spokesman Jason Miller were discussing Ivanka Trump’s comments regarding the issue of family separation of illegal immigrants with CNN host Chris Cuomo. Miller defended Ivanka’s comments and said it was important that the U.S. enforces its immigration laws and criticized Rye for wanting an “open borders” policy.
Then came the utter insanity.
“What I don’t want to enforce is your president’s nonsense,” Rye responded.
Rye’s reference to “your president” several times prompted Miller to ask Rye if she was Canadian since she refused to say Trump was her president as well.
And then…
“You have nothing to add except for asking me if I’m Canadian, and, no, I’m not,” Rye said. “I wish I could tell you where from Africa my ancestors came from, at least part of them, but I wouldn’t know because the same bigots who are sending people back away from their children are the ones who brought my ancestors here on a slave ship.”
Also, because you have to see this nonsense to believe it, here’s a clip:
This is CNN, folks.
