Top Dem: 'No Sane Country' Would Give Birthright Citizenship to Undocumented Immigrants (WATCH)
Republicans today will agree with then-Senator Harry Reid (D-NV).
He says “no sane country” would give birthright citizenship to illegal immigrants.
Reid declared on the Senate floor: “If making it easy to be an illegal alien isn’t enough, how about offering a reward for being an illegal immigrant? No sane country would do that, right? Guess again.”
“If you break our laws by entering this country without permission and give birth to a child, we reward that child with U.S. citizenship and guarantee a full access to all public and social services that this society provides, and that’s a lot of services.”

From Daily Wire:
President Donald Trump said on Monday that he would pursue an executive order to outlaw birthright citizenship just days before the November midterm elections, which, as expected, caused a meltdown from the political Left.
Women from Mexico and many, many other nations come to America by any means necessary in order to give birth.
This give’s their children American citizenship by default.
What ends up happening is the American-born kids don’t get deported and often times neither do the mothers (or fathers).
It is a system of which plenty of Americans are not fond.
Why it matters: This would be the most dramatic move yet in Trump’s hard-line immigration campaign, this time targeting “anchor babies” and “chain migration.” And it will set off another standoff with the courts, as Trump’s power to do this through executive action is debatable, to say the least.

The problem with the EO is that Trump may run into trouble constitutionally.
Enter South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham (R), who plans to introduce legislation to make the process easier:
Finally, a president willing to take on this absurd policy of birthright citizenship. https://t.co/kCa0ko7P76

I’ve always supported comprehensive immigration reform – and at the same time – the elimination of birthright citizenship.

The United States is one of two developed countries in the world who grant citizenship based on location of birth.
This policy is a magnet for illegal immigration, out of the mainstream of the developed world, and needs to come to an end.

In addition, I plan to introduce legislation along the same lines as the proposed executive order from President @realDonaldTrump.

Do you agree with Trump and…Harry Reid?
