Trump Gets Ready to Board Marine One, Sees Cops, What He Does Next is Pure Class
On Wednesday, President Trump participated in a roundtable discussion on the issues of illegal immigration and MS-13 in Bethpage, New York where he met with families who had loved ones murdered by members of the deplorable gang.
After the discussion ended, Trump was headed back to Marine One to leave, but before he boarded the plane he saw a group of law enforcement officers who wanted to meet him.
What he did next is pure class.
In a video clip posted on Twitter by Dan Scavino Jr., who serves as an assistant to the president and as the Director of Social Media for the Trump administration, Trump can be seen breaking away from the rest of the group and jogging over to greet the law enforcement officers.
According to Scavino, the law enforcement officers were from the New York State Police and the Nassau County Police Department.

How refreshing is it to see our commander-in-chief actually supporting the brave men and women who put their lives on the line on a daily basis to serve and protect their local communities?
It’s been a long, long time since we’ve seen a president who actually treats police officers with the respect they deserve, especially when you look back at the years of the Obama administration.
The former president worked in tandem with the left-wing media in America to create a narrative that made the vast majority of law enforcement professionals seem like they were angry, power hungry racists with itchy trigger fingers. This, of course, isn’t the case at all.
The damage done to the institution of law enforcement by Obama has proven to be extensive, especially given the level of violence and vitriol being spewed at cops across the country. Many officers have paid for this narrative with their lives, while others have been discriminated against and mistreated by the public at large.
Let’s hope Trump’s goodwill rubs off on others the same way Obama’s hostility did.
