Trump Issues Stern Statement on Pence Document Discovery

It was only a few months ago that the mainstream media was whipping American into yet another partisan frenzy, attempting to insinuate that the discovery of allegedly classified documents at the Florida estate of former President Donald Trump was some sort of traitorous, treacherous behavior.  The liberal Twitter army was aghast too, trying to put the idea in our head, (again….sigh), that The Don was some sort of double agent selling state secrets to Russia or Saudi Arabia or…somebody.

Despite the unprecedented absurdity of the suggestion, these sort of whispers persisted in the left’s media bubble for months…up until their guy got caught with definitely-classified documents at multiple properties.  Then it got a little quiet.

Now that former Vice President Mike Pence has become the latest government official to have classified documents discovered in his home, the whole thing feels blasé.

Heck, even Donald Trump was unwilling to use the opportunity to drag one of his potential 2024 campaign challengers.

Former President Trump defended former Vice President Pence after it was revealed that classified records were discovered in his Indiana home, while also telling Fox News that although he has been “the most transparent” with the investigation into records found at Mar-a-Lago, there are “two sets of justice” compared to Biden’s case.

Pence informed Congress Tuesday that he discovered documents bearing classified markings in his Carmel, Indiana, home on Jan. 16 from his time as vice president.

“Mike Pence is an innocent man,” Trump posted on his Truth Social Tuesday afternoon, which he also referred to in an interview with Fox News Digital. “He never did anything knowingly dishonest in his life.”

And that wasn’t all:

He added: “Leave him alone!!!”

During an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital Tuesday, Trump reflected on the FBI’s unprecedented raid of his Mar-a-Lago home, after months of discussions with the National Archives and Records Administration over documents from his time at the White House.

“I’m the one that has been the most transparent,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “We were having productive talks with NARA and DOJ.”

“And then, they came and raided us,” Trump said, referring to the Aug. 8, 2022 early morning FBI raid of his private residence in Palm Beach, Florida.

The White House been completely stonewalling the press corps when it comes to the details of Biden’s document drama, and it was reported just this week that there was a concerted federal effort to cover up the controversy for political reasons.
