Trump Just Halted WaPo & NY Times Subscriptions From Being Sent to Federal Agencies

If Trump doesn’t call them out, nobody will…

America is at war with “fake news.” The left continues to push it and the media keeps backing them up. Fake news has been a problem ever since early in 2016. The left doesn’t like being called out on their lies so they coined a term to stop Republicans from getting the truth to the masses. And that’s why conservative outlets have suffered so badly ever since Donald Trump won the presidential election over crooked Hillary Clinton.

Don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. Fake news is liberal propaganda BS. And they know it. Trump placed the “fake news” title on the left a few years back as a way to call out radicals on their nonsense.

But they haven’t stop. They won’t stop because true journalism is dead. On Thursday, POTUS took a stand against two of the biggest purveyors of fake news in America.

President Trump says the White House is going to cancel the New York Times and Washington Post subscription, and then says he’s gotten worse press than Abraham Lincoln

Reactions:

Not renewing subscriptions to the @nytimes and @washingtonpost “across all federal agencies will be a significant cost saving—hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars will be saved,” says @PressSec.

This is a de facto confirmation @POTUS will be instructing federal agencies not to renew their subscriptions to the two newspapers, a senior @WhiteHouse official tells @VOANews.

White House says it’s going to do things and doesn’t always follow through, but NYT and WaPo subscriptions were ended.

Some aides privately expressing regret. But doubt Trump will stop reading either.

WaPo *online* subscription remains.

WH still gets WSJ, Hill, NY Post etc.

Last day for hard copy delivery to the Trump White House of New York Times and Washington Post was Tuesday, ending—for now—what was likely long historic streak.

“Washington Post also, but The New York Times even more so treats me unbelievably terribly,” Trump on Fox Monday.

Comedian Tracy Morgan Defends Trump, Makes Call For Unity In Coronavirus Crisis

Published

Comedian Tracy Morgan recently came to the defense of President Trump, saying that people who are criticizing his response to the coronavirus crisis should focus on supporting each other instead, especially while this outbreak is ongoing. Morgan spoke on the “Today” show Wednesday saying, “The struggle is real. People want to criticize the president, but imagine being a president of a country and have your country got sick. So, it’s difficult for him. We’ve all got to pull together as people, now.” “Now is not the time for blame and all these other things and anger. It’s here now. We just got to be together. We’ve got to all stay safe. Nobody wants to transmit it, nobody wants to attract it, nobody wants to get it. So, let’s just stay safe and do the protocol that we have to do,” Morgan went on to say. WATCH: https://twitter.com/kashjackson2018/status/1247530918799003648?s=21 Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: Democrats have slammed Trump for downplayingthe threat of the virus before it arrived in America and for a lack of leadership they say Trump has displayed since its arrival. Nearly 400,000 people in the United States have contracted the virus, and more than 12,000 people have died. Nearly 400,000 people in the United States have contracted the virus, and more than 12,000 people have died. Morgan is spot on here. There’s far more constructing things we could be doing with our time right now than attacking President Trump. The leftist media has made this whole outbreak into an excuse for further ripping the country apart by slamming the president over and over again, especially about things he…

Nikki Haley Says Management Of Coronavirus Not Trump’s Responsibility, But Governors

Published

on

Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley recently stated that victories and failures in the battle against the coronavirus that has swept across the country in the last month falls on the shoulders of governors and is there responsibility to handle, not the president’s. And you know what, she’s absolutely right. Haley, who’s most recent posting included being a United States ambassador to the United Nations, penned a piece for the NY Times that was published on Wednesday that delved into the reasons why governors are the ones ultimately responsible for responding to the coronavirus crisis. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “In today’s crisis, governors from both parties have exemplified strong leadership,” she wrote. “They know their residents and their state’s needs better than anyone in the federal government. In the state-federal partnership, governors are in the best position to control what happens on the ground, better than any president could be.” Haley explained that governors are responsible for connecting federal efforts from organizations such as the Federal Emergency Management Agency to the cities and counties that have the most need. She added that governors are supposed to be aware of their states’ supplies for emergency situations and have the relationships with local leaders to best address the situation. “As our highest nationally elected leader, of course President Trump has enormous responsibility in this unprecedented crisis, and he is marshaling the federal response on a massive scale. But in implementing plans to save people’s lives and keep our economy afloat, look no further than the governors,” Haley penned. Haley went on to say that the coronavirus serves as a reminder of the importance of federalism and why it’s so critical to allow individual states and their governments to handle these sort of situations noting, “Governors are the most successful when…
