Trump Obliterates J6 Committee with Powerful Statement

For many on the right side of the aisle, the January 6th select committee is being more than a little disingenuous about their purpose for existence, and some of the most powerful figures within the GOP are now speaking heatedly on the subject.

The concern is that the committee is simply using this wide net that they’ve bestowed upon themselves to gather dirt against the MAGA faithful in hopes of preventing the well-prophecized “red wave” of the 2022 midterms from materializing.

Now, after a number of public hearings, at least one of which was produced by a former ABC television executive, former President Donald Trump has been compelled to take aim at the group.

Former President Donald Trump on Friday fired back at the House select committee investigating the events of Jan. 6, 2021.

“There’s no clearer example of the menacing spirit that has devoured the American left than the disgraceful performance being staged by the unselect committee,” Trump said at a conference hosted by the Faith and Freedom Coalition in Nashville, Tennessee.

And then:

“They’re con people,” Trump continued. “They’re con artists.”

“The committee refuses to play any of the tape of people saying the good things, the things that we want to hear,” he said. “It’s a one-way street. It’s a rigged deal.”

Trump has not yet been subpoenaed in the investigation, and the consensus among experts is that the committee wouldn’t dare to call him to the stand anyway.
