Trump Responds to Giuliani Bombshell, Reveals True Purpose of Cohen Payment to Porn Star

Published

on

President Trump took to Twitter Thursday morning to respond to a bombshell revelation dropped by his lawyer, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who revealed that the president reimbursed his attorney Michael Cohen for a hush-money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

According to Trump, the money was given to stop what he claims are false allegations and went on to state that no campaign funds were used in the reimbursement.

The president put out a three-part tweet about the $130,000 Cohen paid to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, to stay quiet in the weeks before the 2016 election about accusations of an affair.

Trump originally stated a month ago that he knew nothing about the $130,000 payment, but Giuliani revealed he did indeed make the payment, but that he had no idea about the details of what the money was being used for, stating he thought it was for “unspecified expenses.”

Giuliani stressed that this was a personal payment and disputed any suggestion that it was an unreported campaign contribution.

“[Cohen] was trying to help the family. … I think he was just being a good lawyer,” he said.

“That money was not campaign money,” Giuliani also said on “Hannity” “It’s not campaign money. No campaign finance violation.”

Experts are torn as to the ramifications this particular revelation might have for Trump and his administration.

Richard L. Hansen, an expert in election law at the University of California, Irvine, stated that if the payment really is completely personal then there would be no violation of campaign finance law.

Michael Avenatti, attorney for Stormy Daniels, appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” program stated that if Trump reimbursed Cohen, it’s a “crime” with “serious consequences.”

The danger of this comes from the fact that Cohen originally stated the entire payment to Daniels came out of his own money, but Giuliani’s account and Trump’s statement seemingly contradict Cohen’s story.

However, it’s important to note that the left has been on a witch hunt to find anything they can dig up to nail Trump to the wall and as we’ve seen time and again from the mainstream media, those who have dedicated themselves to bringing down the current administration are willing to lie to accomplish their ends.

Only time will tell if this situation will have a negative impact on the president.

Mitch McConnell Blasts AOC’s Claim He Is ‘Complicit In Advancing Racism’

Good for him.

Has anyone else noticed how hostile Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has become as of late? It seems she’s moved beyond just spewing pure idiocy and has decided to beef it up with a little bitterness. One of her most recent comments was against Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who she claims is complicit in advancing racism. Because when all else fails, just toss out the “R-word.” Well, McConnell decided to strike back at such a claim and totally shutdown AOC. Here’s more from The Daily Wire: “I think it’s time to lore the rhetoric related to that subject all across America — everyone knows that’s nonsense,” McConnell replied to Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo when addressed with the accusation. “I was there when Martin Luther King gave that ‘I Have A Dream’ speech. I was there as an observer when President Johnson signed the Voting Rights Act,” McConnell continued. “Look, I’ve got nothing to apologize [for] on this front. We ought to tone rhetoric down across the country. Throwing around words like racism, routinely applying it to almost everything — let’s talk about the issues.” McConnell’s response came two days after Ocasio-Cortez criticized him for not speaking out against President Donald Trump’s earlier remark that members of the so-called “Squad” should “go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came.” The Squad, consisting of Ocasio-Cortez, Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib, and Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley, addressed the heated exchange Monday, and further attacked Trump on a variety of fronts, claiming that he was promulgating a white nationalist agenda and “allowing millions of Americans to die from lack of health insurance.” “[The Squad] wants to take America into a socialist country — I think it’s important to remember that you don’t need…

Berkeley Changing Name For City’s ‘Manholes’ To ‘Maintenance Holes.’ The Reason Why Is Ridiculous

This is just plain stupid.

The city of Berkely, California has decided to change the name of the city’s “manholes” to “maintenance holes” as part of an effort to remove gendered language from the city’s legal code so they can be more “inclusive.” Folks, the insanity that left-wing progressivism ultimately leads to and why we must fight hard to stop it. via Daily Wire: NBC News reported that on Tuesday, the city council adopted a first reading of a new ordinance which removes “gender preference language” from Berkeley’s municipal code. NBC also reported that city council member Rigel Robinson, the youngest member of the council, orchestrated the new ordinance. “It is Berkeley being Berkeley, and what that means is it’s Berkeley being inclusive,” Robinson told the outlet’s bay-area affiliate. “A male-centric municipal code doesn’t reflect the reality of the city of Berkeley.” The full list of changed words is reminiscent of the decades-old move to change words that typically end in “-man” to ending with “-person,” such as “salesperson” instead of “salesman.” But the Berkeley list goes further, changing words in a way that would make a Gender Studies professor proud. Instead of “manhole,” city code must now say “maintenance hole.” Instead of “brother” or “sister,” city code must now say “sibling.” Instead of “manpower,” city code must now say either “human effort” or “workforce.” The term “manmade” is also getting scrubbed. It is to be replaced with “human-made” or “artificial,” or “manufactured.” Yeah, we’re just as surprised as you about the inclusion of “MANufactured,” but apparently it’s allowed. The word “master” is now replaced “captain,” “skipper,” or “pilot.” Yes, this is totally for real. This isn’t just another prank article or satire. These folks are legitimately this crazy. Political correctness is destroying America, ravaging freedom of speech, one of the most important, foundational truths…
