A showdown is looming at the United States’ border with Mexico, and President Trump is certainly not taking the situation lightly.

For the second time in as many years, a massive caravan of Central American migrants is marching deliberately through Mexico on their way to the Unites States.  Of course, this flies in the face of the President’s furious focus on national security, particularly in the case of illegal immigration into our nation, as these migrants are openly vowing to enter the US under the radar and without documentation.

Or, at the very least, they are simply planning to create a spectacle.

In either case, the size of this caravan has become unwieldy during the long trek through Mexico, now topping 7,000 individuals.

As this army of would-be illegal immigrants march toward the United States, President Donald Trump has taken a bold stance on the subject, even going so far as to declare the issue a “National Emergency” on Twitter.

The President then explained that there would be consequences for the nations from which these migrants are emigrating.

The President has previously threatened to send military forces to the border in order to maintain sovereignty and peace as the agitated herd of people make their way toward Texas and beyond.

TOLERANT LEFT: Author Asks if Saudi Arabia Could Give Trump the Khashoggi Treatment

More violent dog whistles from the radical left are emerging as Washington’s dysfunction approaches critical mass.

Fran Lebowitz

For as tolerant as the liberal left claims to be, they sure do want a lot of harm to come to the President and the republican party. This “resistance” attitude is something straight out of Hollywood, which makes sense since much of this violent and anti-American rhetoric is being spurned on by wealthy celebrities who have not a care in the world. Just two weeks after Kathy Griffin posted an incredibly gory image of herself having figuratively beheaded a facsimile of the President, a former Bernie Sanders campaign staffer attempted to assassinate the entire GOP charity baseball team. We must always remember that there are consequences for these sorts of political outbursts, particularly at a time in which our nation is so divided. So why on earth would author Fran Lebowtiz suggest that the President be killed on a public forum such as HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher? Lebowtiz began her rant by saying that “impeachment would be just the beginning of what [President Trump] deserves”. She added, “Whenever I think about this and what he really deserves, I think, we should turn him over to the Saudis, his buddies. The same Saudis who got rid of that reporter. Maybe they could do the same for him.” It took until the main program had ended for Lebowitz to backtrack, likely fearing an ugly visit from the Secret Service. Later, during the “Overtime” segment, Lebowitz said, “I didn’t realize that I said it. … I regret saying it.” She added, “I did not mean that, and I regret saying it. I regret that everyone misinterpreted it…they misinterpret everything. Why should they stop with me?” Sorry Fran – there’s nothing to misinterpret here. Also, as an author, the idea that Lebowitz somehow wasn’t calculating the words that she was using is absurd…

Nancy Pelosi Backtracks on ‘Crisis’ Talk in Stunning Border Reversal

The ‘resistance’ is NOT going to like this.

Nancy Pelosi

To put it bluntly, and in a nod to the 1990’s, we’ll just say:  No duh, Nancy. For years, and likely decades, the southern border of the US has been a dangerous place.  Still, people from all around the world attempt to traverse this no-man’s land to enter the United States – a land of dreams and hope for many. They risk it all:  Harsh environmental conditions, possible arrest by American border authorities, the brutality of the Mexican drug cartels who patrol the areas, and the insidious nature of the unscrupulous “coyotes” who are tasked with providing passage. By allowing these migrants to endure these conditions, US immigration policy has, for years, been perpetuating this crisis.  Unfortunately, in a nod to their “resistance”-minded base, the democrats have been obstructive to the President’s plans for a border wall – something that would help funnel these would-be Americans to legal and humane points of entry while deterring the ne’er-do-wells who wish to take advantage of the open country. This schtick is costing the democrats dearly, however, and even Nancy Pelosi has been forced to backtrack on her previous stance as the border crisis becomes undeniable. “Well, let me just say this. We have never not said that there was a crisis — there is a humanitarian crisis at the border, and some of it provoked by the actions taken by the administration,” Pelosi stated during her weekly press conference in the Capitol Visitor Center on Wednesday. Of course, these statements run counter to Pelosi and her fellow democrats have been saying for years. During a joint press conference in January, Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) accused the president of using the “backdrop of the Oval Office to manufacture a crisis, stoke fear, and divert attention.” Further, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer…
