Trump Threatens 2022 and 2024 Elections if 2020 Issues are Not Resolved

There is no doubt whatsoever that Donald Trump is poised to remain a pivotal player in American politics for years to come, and he’s made no qualms about rocking the boat in the past.

Now, as the former President is not-so-secretly plotting another run for the White House in 2024, he continues to insist that the 2020 contest wasn’t up to snuff.  In fact, Trump is so convinced that the results of the election were amiss that he’s threatening to command the MAGA Movement to simply boycott 2022 and 2024 on account of it.

Former President Donald Trump appeared to suggest on Wednesday that Republican voters would boycott future elections unless the alleged voter fraud of the 2020 election is resolved.

“If we don’t solve the Presidential Election Fraud of 2020 (which we have thoroughly and conclusively documented), Republicans will not be voting ’22 or ’24,” he said. “It is the single most important thing for Republicans to do.”

Despite the sensational nature of the threat, there is certainly some precedent for this sort of boycott-protest.

Leading up to the Georgia senate election earlier this year, President Trump strongly pushed the voter fraud angle, which possibly led to Republicans staying home on election day, contributing to Sen. Raphael Warnock’s (D-GA) and Sen. Jon Ossoff’s (D-GA) victories.

Trump and his legal surrogates have spent much of the 11 months attempting to prove that the 2020 election was, in fact, rigged against the incumbent Republican, but to no avail.  Court after court refused to hear their cases, and some of the speculation even triggered billion dollar lawsuits from Dominion Voting Systems, who claimed that some of the pushback against their role in the election amounted to defamation.
