The House Democratic caucus paid for the two private jets that flew the Texas Democrats to Washington, D.C. They are not paying for their hotel, funded by a group associated with Texas Democratic Rep. Beto O’Rourke, a grant of $600K, which raises two important questions.
- Why can’t they purchase their own Dr. Pepper and the other products on their list?
- Will Beto will pay for the hotel on my next trip to DC?
The Democrats fleed Texas to prevent voting on a bill that would increase voting hours but requires voter ID and removes some extras, such as drive-through voting, which were added only because of COVID. With their cowardly act, they prevented a quorum preventing the bill from being voted on,
One of the things the Dems fleeing their responsibility did manage to bring with them on their private plane ride to DC was at least one case of Miller Lite…
…which made Texas GOP senator respond to the Democrats’ list of goodies fearing they left something out:

Based on the fact those Texas Democrats have been spreading COVID all over DC, perhaps they should have put vaccines and masks on their list. Supposedly they all got the COVID arm pokes, but at least six tested positive for COVID-19 in the days after they arrived in the nation’s capital city (after six, they stopped reporting the number of cases).
But before their illnesses were discovered, the cowardly Democrats met with Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Some of their D.C. staffers also tested positive. But it’s not all bad news, according to one commenter:
At least they are spreading covid in DC, not Austin.

It’s incredible how selfish the fleeing Texas Democratic Party reps are. Not only did they flee from voting on a bill that increases voting hours but makes it more difficult to vote illegally. They didn’t follow the FAA mandate and wear masks on the plane trip and ended up spreading COVID at the nation’s capital. They got free transportation and hotel rooms, but now they’re begging for care packages.
If they really need supplies and can’t afford to purchase them—they should write their parents and ask like I did in camp. Either that or perhaps they could go back home to Texas and do their jobs.
